LATE 18TH CENTURY CHINESE PORCELAIN STRAIGHT SIDED CIDER MUG, overall decorated in underglaze Famille Rose pallet, Mandarin design with reserve panel of Madarin and his family in a garden and four addition vignettes of landscapes, birds on a branch etc., all within underglaze cobalt blue framing, loop handle. 12.5cm high.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Showing no obvious damage or restoration, good condition. Black line at the bottom is a blemish or mark, not impressed or indented.
CHINESE PORCELAIN BALUSTER SHAPED VASE overall and continuously painted with mythical kylin dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst clouds, above the waves of the sea, in coloured enamels with Imari pallet, stylised bands to neck and base. Unmarked. 25cm high approx. Probably early 19th Century.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Some flaws to glaze with minor wear in places including neck area, imperfect glazing and gilt overpaint around base foot rim, otherwise no obvious damage or restoration noted.
PAIR OF CHINESE PORCELAIN CANTON BALUSTER SHAPED VASES, overall decorated in Famille Rose pallet with reserved panels of courtiers in interiors within Grecian key gilded framing, the field overall decorated with precious objects and flowers, with smaller portrait panels, elephant head handles, unmarked. 32cm high approx. (2)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Wear to gilding, particularly on elephant head mounts, one vase has a fine hair crack downwards from neck rim.
LARGE CHINESE TRANSITIONAL STYLE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BALUSTER SHAPED JAR, overall continuously decorated in underglaze blue with mythical kylin, plantain and stylised clouds with distant landscape features, unmarked, together with good quality pierced hardwood, carved, replacement cover and similar hardwood base stand. The jar 22.5cm high approx. Probably late 17th Century.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Fine 'Y' shaped hair crack to neck and horizontal hair crack to base.
18TH CENTURY TEA BOWL AND SAUCER IN CHINESE STYLE, having external and internal decoration of figures in a garden, possibly Liverpool. Cup 8cm, saucer 13cm diameter, together with an English porcelain blue and white painted bowl in Chinese style, with internal geometric border and central motif, externally painted with a garden scene. 13.5cm diameter. (2)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: The tea bowl has restoration to rim chips and wear commensurate with age, similarly the saucer has small chips to its rim and general wear. The bowl a little discoloured in places but no obvious damage or restoration.
