A Lowestoft tankard, circa 1770, decorated in the mandarin style with Chinese figures in a fenced garden, red loop and dot border to the interior rim, 13.5cm highProvenance:Crepping Hall, Suffolk Exhibited: Ipswich, Lowestoft Porcelain Bicentenary Exhibition, 1957, cat. no.156Condition report: Crack which goes across the base, rubbing to the black line rims, and usual scratching and rubbing to the glaze in places. Late 19th/early 20th century Chinese porcelain cylindrical vase, in the Kangxi style with four character mark to base. Height 30 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There are numerous chips and losses to the rim of the base. Discoloration to the rim of the base both through dirt, handling and small holes which have been discoloured with moisture. Numerous small chips to the rim of the top of the vase, some small areas of discolouration in the glaze, no apparent cracks or hairline cracks to effect the structure of the vase.
A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese porcelain club shaped vase, in the Kangxi style with four character mark to base. Height 26 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are no apparent cracks or hairline cracks to this vase. There are chips along the base and there are in many places along the glaze scuff marks and cracks which have been discoloured with moisture, ingrained dirt to the top rim and the rim of the base. Numerous patches of small brown discolouration throughout the glaze.
A Chinese Yong Zheng porcelain chicken cup, also decorated with fans. Diameter 6.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The cup is in generally good condition with no significant issues. We can see no evidence of any significant damage, repairs or restoration. The top lip does have two small glaze nibbles which are rough to touch.
A Chinese Republic porcelain bowl decorated with flowers, birds and calligraphy. Diameter 11.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The bowl is in generally good condition with only minor issues. The top rim has two small glaze nibbles and the gilding is rubbed. There are several firing marks to the glaze within the body. The pattern and character marks are fairly strong with only minor rubbing. The foot rim is in good order.
A Chinese porcelain cylindrical teapot, with ribbed sides and floral decoration. Height 10 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are significant areas of wear to the colour decoration and also ingrained dirt along the top of the rim, the spout and the lid. Many areas of gilt have been rubbed and the overall condition is quite worn. There are losses around the edge of the lid and a number of small losses to the rim of the teapot, these have oxidised and are now showing brown. There are no cracks or hairline cracks that affect the main structure of this teapot.
Four pieces of Chinese porcelain, squat vase, octagonal bowl, tea bowl and small vessel. Tallest 11 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The smallest vessel has chips to the rim, wear also to the rim and ingrained dirt to the base. The other three items are in similar condition with regards to general wear, discolouration and ingrained dirt.

A large Chinese porcelain vase, Ming Dynasty style, of large ovoid proportions, externally decorated with a scrolling dragon against a blue and white ground, unglazed foot rim and recessed base, 29cm high CONDITION REPORT:The exterior of the piece appears to be in generally good condition, showing no obvious chips, cracks or losses. The interior shows some small firing cracks, glazing faults and staining to the body and further glazing faults around the base.
A Chinese porcelain celadon vase, 19th century, of pear shape (Yuhuchunping), decorated with white overlay foliate sprays, converted to a lamp base with gilt metal mounts, 35cm highCondition report; Surface staining and dirt visible across the exterior. Dirtied glaze scratches also apparent. Rims and base cannot be assessed due to the mounts concealing them. No restoration can be currently seen. Some pitting.
