(4)⁂ Alfred Baur (1985-1951) donated his collection to the Baur Foundation shortly before he died. A life long collector, little was known of the breadth and quality of his collection until the present catalogues were published. The individual catalogues are as follows, Chinese Ceramics: 1 with Korean and Thai wares; 2 Ming porcelain, and other wares; 3 Monochrome-glazed porcelains of the Ch'ing dynasty and 4 Painted and polychrome porcelains of the Ch'ing dynasty.
