An early 19th century oval Chinese hard-paste porcelain dish; hand-decorated in underglaze blue and white with peony etc. surrounding a central mon (30.5cm wide) There doesn’t appear to be any damage, cracks, chips or restoration. There is some kiln dirt noted to the front and this is noticeable when you run your fingers over and the dirt appears proud in relief. The back of the dish sometimes appears slightly discoloured around the border to the edge.
