Chinese porcelain baluster jar, the mouth rim decorated all over with 'a hundred butterflies' motif, rendered in iron red and gilt rouge-de-fer enamels, with floral scrolls to the neck and shoulder. Six character Yongzheng reign mark to the base in under glazed blue. 24.5cms high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) No lid. Noticeable chip to the middle of the body. Otherwise appearing good overall. Small chip noticeable also to the base.

Kangxi period circa 1700. 24cm high approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Damage to the inside of the neck with a large chip around the rim and losses. With associated hairlines. Missing lid.

A collection of four Chinese porcelain teapots, of small baluster and other forms, all late Qing in date, most likely Guangxu period (1875-1908), all decorated with flowers and foliage, figures etc, the figures in various pursuits and one with bird amongst plants and four Chinese character marks to the reverse. Some stamped with Tongzhi mark. (4)(B.P. 21% + VAT)Orange teapot - chips/frits underside of lid. All have some wear. Figural baluster vases - chips/frits to lid. Other figural vase - small chip to spout and base of handle. Wear to gilding in places.

Chinese porcelain blue and white bowl, decorated inside and out with late 18th century style landscapes depicting people, trees and pavilions in a lakeside setting. 26.5cm diameter approx. 19th century. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Excellent condition, no obvious damage, chips, cracks or restoration.

Lot 168

Chinese porcelain underglaze cobalt blue and white dish, with foliate rim depicting flowers and foliage around a central floral medallion, the reverse decorated with three floral sprigs with a quatrefoil flower mark inside a double circle to the base. Kangxi period (1662-1722). 28.5cm diameter. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Repaired damage area which has been re-glued to the rim with some fine hair cracks and minor frits/chips to t he rim.

Lot 170

Pair of Chinese export porcelain famille rose tiles of rectangular form, mounted in later gilt frames, depicting figures in an interior. 23 x 12cm approx. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) In very good condition. Gallery stamp on the back of both frames claiming a Qianlong dating but the tiles are in fact later Qing (second half of the 19th Century circa 1870-1880).

Chinese export porcelain famille Verte ovoid vase and cover painted with figures and a boat in a lakeside mountainous landscape with trees and pavilions, all beneath a ruyi head border. Double circle mark to the base in under glazed cobalt blue, standing on a carved hardwood base. 40.5cm high approx. Late Qing/early Republic. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Two noticeable firing faults, one to the shoulder and one just below the midline. Small flake of porcelain missing from the under glazed mouth but otherwise appearing in good condition with no obvious damage. The vase and cover probably did not start life together but make an acceptable match.

Four pieces of 18th century Chinese porcelain, comprising: circular punch bowl with polychrome panels of figures and blue and white decorative borders, 23cm diam.; two circular bowls decorated with figures in landscapes, 14cm and 11cm diam. and a floral decorated tea plate, 21cm diam.  (4).Condition:Punch Bowl : Large repaired crack extending through and firing crack to top rim.Larger bowl: Tiny rim chip or air bubble to top rim.Smaller bowl: 1" fine haircrack and another 2".Plate: Two x 1" haircracks, small rim chips.
