An 18th century Worcester porcelain chinoiserie style circular bowl, decorated in enamels with various Chinese figural and interior scenes and with underglaze blue ornamental band to the inside, diameter 12cm, and a similarly decorated larger 18th century Liverpool porcelain example, diameter 15.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: The Liverpool bowl has a star hairline to base, visible both underneath and to the top, also some areas of surface wear such as scratches, particularly to the inside, some rubbing to the red iron paint, and minor areas of flaking to the paints. The Worcester bowl is generally in good condition with areas of rubbing and scratches to paints, particularly to the inside bottom.
