A rare large Chinese moulded porcelain 'double-gourd and bats' snuff bottle and stopper, Qing Dynasty, the body decorated with five bats to each side, wu fu flickering amidst flowering gourd vines issuing the auspicious fruits on both sides, enamelled in coral, pink, tones of green, yellow and black, 11.3cm high including stopper The combination of bats and double-gourds is particularly auspicious. A large Chinese Islamic market porcelain dish, probably Swatow, 17th century, painted in overglaze green and black enamels, with talismanic inscriptions, red line border, approximately 41cm diameter Dishes similar to this were exported to Indonesia and are believed to have been commissioned by the powerful seventeenth-century Shia sultans of Aceh in northwest Sumatra, including Sultan Iskander Muda (1607-1636) (Canepa 2006, no. 40).

Various 18th and 19thC English Continental and Chinese porcelain, to include a Red Crown Derby period potpourri bowl, of small inverted bellied outline with an upper pierced border broken by mask heads on an inverted platform base, marks beneath, 10cm high, an Amstel Porcelain tea bowl with geometric banding, an early 19thC lid probably Coalport, various 19thC polychrome Chinese saucers, Derby Purple Crown and Cross Sword two handled cabinet cups and saucers, etc. (a quantity)
Chinese blue and white lidded tea bowl, overall decorated in underglaze blue with Shi-shi playing with brocade balls and having painted seal mark to base, together with a Japanese Seto porcelain blue and white jar lid and a Chinese porcelain cushion shaped seal box decorated in Famille Rose enamels with women and children in a garden. 19th Century.
