Two Chinese Canton enamel small quatrefoil section wine cups, each decorated with Europeans at leisure in a garden scene, two small silver-coloured metal hexagonal-section wine cups cast with calligraphy, animals, birds and landscapes, and two porcelain small saucers decorated with red-capped cranes. Some slight damage. 18th century and later, 8cm. max. (6)

A Chinese famille rose plate, decorated with flowers and foliage, 18th century, 23cm., and a Chinese famille rose armorial bowl, decorated with flowers and foliage, the armorial crest is probably that of Gamon of Hertfordshire (Richard Gamon, b.1748, was MP for Winchester). Base crack. c.1775, 17cm. (2) Cf. David Sanctuary Howard, Chinese Armorial Porcelain, p391, N6 for a similar example.
Lot 488
A rare Chinese porcelain Ding, simulation bronze, of archaic form, each side decorated with taotie masks, and raised on splayed feet, the body splashed with turquoise and heightened with gilding, the base with a moulded six character Qianlong mark, but probably 19th century, all on an elaborate and reticulated hard wood stand, the cover set with a jade knop. Minor repairs. 44.5cm. overall. (3)
