Provenance: this lot was part of lots 510 and 908 which was sold by Christie's in 1992 as part of the Vung Tau Cargo.

The smaller bowl has quite a lot of heavy wear and scratches to the interior, some fritting to the rim and a tiny rim chip, staining both internally and externally. The saucer dish has tiny rim chip and fritting to both foot rim and upper rim. There is a chip to the famille rose cover and losses to the glaze on the bud finial.
