A Chinese export porcelain blue and white stand, Qianlong (1736-1795) of canted rectangular form, decorated with figures on a bridge in pagoda island landscape, Fitzhugh style border, 29cm wide, a Chinese blue and white saucer dish, 19th century, decorated with peony against a washed blue ground, 22cm diameter and a pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain saucers, each decorated with the Eight Immortals, four character seal mark, 12cm diameter (at fault) (4)
A Chinese porcelain famille rose two handled vase, 20th century, of archaic form, the faceted, segmented body divided by borders of archaistic dragons interspersed by diamond bosses, each panel decorated with one of the bajixiang or Buddhist symbols, below a plantain leaf border and on a spreading ruyi head plinth, with pierced birds head handles, apocryphal underglaze blue Qianlong seal mark to the base, 23.5cm high Provenance: According to the vendor, this piece was given to a relative in 1945 by the Japanese port authorities during his time as an oil tanker captain for Shell Oil.
