CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE YELLOW GROUND PORCELAIN VASE FINE CHINESE FAMILLE VERTE YELLOW GROUND PORCELAIN VASE, QING, probably Guangxu, the underside with character mark in red, an elegant baluster shaped vase with flared rim and circular foot, decorated allover with a profusion of blossoming and scrolling vines, with molded elephant masks at each side and a large `ruyi` shoulder border. Very minor chips tp rim and sides of masks. (see below) Height 16 in. Note: There are a handful of minor rather old rim chips - visible in the images posted and those sent to you. Most of the chipped elements are in the enamel. Further, there are two small chips to one of the elephant `s ears; the other handle has one chip to the ear. The body with opposing raised reserves of an exotic bird in a landscape. The sides with applied lion-and-ring handles. Height 20 in., Width 13 in. Lot 300 Note: This vase is in excellent condition. It is most likely early 20th century. It is thickly potted, it posses strong coloring and the quality of it`s painting is superb. Height 9 in. and 8 in. Note: The larger Yellowish / Green example on the left is in Very Good condition, there are no breaks, past repairs or damages of any sort. The second, on the right contains a very small chip from a crack that has developed on the spout just beneath the lid. The crack and chip are visible in the attached images. The first is in good overall condition; there is some loss to the enamel coloring in a few areas, not easily detectable. There are three very thin firing cracks on the underside. The color and quality of decoration is quite nice and of good quality. The second item is unimpressive and a late jardiniËre, There are no damages. A large 20th Century Chinese porcelain charger in the famille-vert palette depicting mythical phoenix amidst birds and flowering prunus, a pair of modern porcelain jars and covers, decorated with flowers and a pair of 19th Century English cabinet plates decorated in the Imari palette CONDITION REPORTS Charger approx 45cm diameter - wear, scuffs and dirt, but appears sound. Pair of plates are scratched and with some chips and stains. Pair of vases have general wear and scuffs, 40cm high approx.

Some minor chips to the rim. Approximately 2cm crack in the glaze to the interior. There are some chips to the foot of the mug. There are various marks to the handle with one chip to the very bottom. Throughout are very small scratches. Approximately 14 cm high. Cylindrical mug; Very small chips to the rim. Throughout faults to the glaze, some resulting in dark marks. Major chips and damage to the glaze on the handle. Approximately 10.5 cm high.

A crack across the teeth where the top and bottom teeth join, and also some firing cracks and blemishes in these areas. One figure has been broken and reglued.
