A Collection of English Delft tin-glazed and Chinese export porcelain plates Comprising Delft polychrome tin glazed plate, possibly Bristol, dated 1753, of circular form with shallow well, painted with central depiction of a flowering lotus shrub with blooms extending from tendrils, the rim further painted with lotus and chrysanthemum sprays, 23cm diam, dated 1753 in underglazed blue to the verso , together with an 18th Century tin-glazed English Delft plate, of circular form, the central field painted with a scene of a formal fenced garden, 22.5cm diam, and a further Chinese Export porcelain plate, painted with rock work issuing chrysanthemum and a lotus, 22.5cm diam. (3) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1752: polychrome Delft plate, underside C1753 the rim, fritting and some large chips to rim approximately 9cm at deepest part, 1cm surface hairline cracks to border surface hairline and star cracks to the inner well, hairline crack runs from the rim just beyond the foot rim approximately 7.5cm, the second plate decorated with a garden and fence pattern, fritting to the rim, rim part cracked one piece re glued and one piece missing approximately 1cm x 1cm, chips off the edge of the rim, surface and rear surface crazing to border and centre, hairline crack running from the outer rim to the inner foot well, the third plate overall flowers, very minor chip to rim some surface scratching several brown specks in the glaze, otherwise good.
A fine Chinese porcelain scholar's pen rest/scroll weight, with an iron red four character Qianlong seal mark, decorated to the top en grisaille with prunus, pine and bamboo on a peach ground with inscription within a gilt cartouche, the scrolled ends in faux bois with decorated cartouche in faux marble, the underside in turquoise with four character iron red seal mark to the centre, 15.5cm long, 3cm high and 7cm wide approx.

Larger celadon dish- Large hairline crack extending from rim, aprox 10cm in length. Firing cracks to base. Small celadon dish- Chip to rim, approx 1cm in size. Extensive rubbing to gilt. Minor wear to enamel.

A Chinese blue and white porcelain dish, Kangxi (1644-1722) Of circular form, the exterior edge with a scalloped rim, the central field with a series of swimming carp, before concentric circular designs and stiff lappet floral borders, the outer rim with a series of six floral rosettes, before a dense foliate ground, lingzhi mark to base, 32cm diam.
A Chinese export porcelain teapot, 18th Century Of globular form, applied with a loop handle and straight spout, the exterior sides painted in underglazed blue and copper red, with watery riverside scenes of boats before pavilions, surmounted by a domed cover with flowerbud finial, 16cm high.
A Chinese bamboo occasional table, 19th/20th Century The tall slender table, inset with a Kangxi style circular blue and white porcelain plaque, painted with two four-clawed dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl, set withing a lotus flora border, with lower tier matching plaque, 78cm high, 34cm diam.
Chinese early 17th century - two Kraak style square section flasks with small cylindrical ribbed necks, one decorated with flowers, foliage and insects above rockwork, the other with two panels of birds and lotus in a watery landscape and two panels with flowers, foliage and insects above rockwork, 29.5 cm h. (2) Condition Report The flask with four panels of flowers and foliage has three areas of hairline cracks - there is an impressed area of porcelain towards the upper section of one panel which has a small star hairline crack radiating from it, with one line extending horizontally through two panels. There is another hairline on the corner of two panels horizontally two thirds from the top of a panel. Finally a crack on the corner of two panels near the base. Please refer to the images for clearer details. The second flask is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
