Two Chinese porcelain porcelain incense stick holders, of rectangular form decorated with mirror image panels of courtiers, before buildings and trees, pierced tops, polychrome decorated predominantly in orange, pink, blue and green enamels, 32cm H. (AF) There is no apparent damage or restoration upon initial inspection to one, the other which is also misshapen has been repaired badly at the base.
A collection of Chinese ceramics to include a waisted vase having alternate panelled sides being hand painted with fruits and green scalloped decoration raised on a blue footed base, a canton famille verte spoon hand enamelled with pink and red florals, a small porcelain vase hand enamelled with famille rose birds and flowers. Also includes an Oriental finely carved bone deity figurine on a wooden base. Measures 19 cm tall.
A Blanc-de-Chine standing figure of Guanyin, The Bodhisattva of Mercy, wearing a typical high chignon over the cowl; Qing Dynasty, with detachable hands and fixed to a fitted wooden base. Overall height including base 49 cm. Provenance: The Property of a Lady. From a Private UK Collection. Interestingly, according to Soame Jenyns in 'Later Chinese Porcelain' (page 16), the manufacture of white monochrome figures of Guanyin was not confined to Dehau in Fukien province.. Please note that there is some damage to this figure that includes: restoration to both hands, and deterioration to the base as a result of the fixed wooden base.

Jenyns summarises this example as having an 'apple' green glaze but of course whilst the photograph does illustrate the crackle design, the exact shade of green may only be surmised.. Please note that some damage and deterioration extant, including: metal mounting at the rim and wood stand at the base.
