Interestingly, according to Soame Jenyns in 'Later Chinese Porcelain' (page 16), the manufacture of white monochrome figures of Guanyin was not confined to Dehau in Fukien province.. Please note that there is some damage to this figure that includes: restoration to both hands, and deterioration to the base as a result of the fixed wooden base.

Jenyns summarises this example as having an 'apple' green glaze but of course whilst the photograph does illustrate the crackle design, the exact shade of green may only be surmised.. Please note that some damage and deterioration extant, including: metal mounting at the rim and wood stand at the base.
