Beidseitig der Wandung und im gemuldeten Spiegel, eine von Laub- und Bandelwerk gerahmte Reserve. Darin nahezu kongruente, szenische Darstellung eines, vor einem Tisch mit Gefäßen, sitzenden Chinesen bei der Vorbereitung der Teezeremonie. Umlaufende eisenrot konturierte Speerspitzenbordüre. Polychrome Malerei mit Gold. Im Boden Klebeetikett ehemals "Sammlung Schlebusch", Unw. ber.; H. 7 cm.Während der Ära des Kaisers Qianlong entstanden chinesische Kopien der Meissener Hoeroldt-Chinoiserien, die wohl für hohe Würdenträger höfischer oder religiöser Herkunft bestimmt waren. Auf ovalem, mit plastischen Blüten und Blättern belegtem Sockel komponierte Gruppe in langen, farbigen, teilweise mit Indianischen Blumen gemusterten Gewändern und weißem Kopftuch. Auf einem Palmenstumpf erhöht stehende Chinesin, in ihren erhobenen Händen einen Vogelkäfig haltend. Neben ihr auf einem Stuhl sich emporstreckendes Kind, nach dem Vogelbauer greifend. Hinter ihnen stehendes Mädchen, das Kind haltend. Polychrome Malerei mit dezenter Goldkonturierung. Entw. wohl Johann Joachim Kaendler oder Peter Reinicke. Rest.; Unw. best.; Verwaschene Schwertermarke. H. 17 cm. Um die Mitte des 18. Jhs. entwarfen Johann Joachim Kaendler, Peter Reinicke und Friedrich Elias Meyer eine Reihe von Chinesen- bzw. Japanergruppen, bei denen sie sich von zeitgenössischen Kupferstichen aus "Les Délices de l'Enfance" von Jean Joseph Baléchou (1717 - 1764) nach François Boucher (1703 - 1770) inspirieren ließen.
