Four Chinese porcelain vases, each with blue and white painted decoration, 17.5cm - 20.5cm high Condition: One of the pair of vases has a section of the top rim broken out and re-stuck with a small wedge shape missing and this vase has further rim chips, the waisted vase has numerous rim chips and a large proportion of the circumference has no glaze left at all, the foot similarly is worn around most of the circumference with nibbling and wear, the baluster shaped vase has hairline crack extending the entire height with off shoots from the crack and a staple near the rim and would originally have had a cover - **General condition consistent with age

A Chinese Yongzheng white porcelain moulded lotus flower bowl in Ming Yongle style, the lotus petal sides supported by a band of petals and an hau incised veining, within the rim the foot with a six character Yongzheng mark and of the period. Diameter 9.1cm. Scrolling hardwood stand. Silk covered fitted box. The box is inscribed faintly in pencil"Yung Cheng Egg shell white bowl lotus shape" and more clearly in different hand "Given to me by Mrs Pansy Harrs (sic) of Shanghai 1956 Said to be nearly 200 years old" this signed with initials possibly CS. Provenance: From a local private collector. Most of her pieces were sourced from these rooms from the 1980s up until 1995. Condition Report: Good condition, no damage.
A Chinese blue and white baluster vase and cover, signed to the base, height 30cm, together with a Satsuma cover, a Japanese pottery jug, signed to the base Ryusai , a Chinese export porcelain jug and a Chinese figure, her elbow resting on an advertising vase for The Swatow Brewery, China and an unrelated stand. Condition Report: Lot 654 - The batavia jug has cracks to the body and chips to the spout, fritting to handle. Height 25 cm. The vase has crazing, none amounts to a crack.
