A black and white photograph, believed to date to 1908, shows Prince Chun II (grandson of the Daoguang Emperor and brother of the Guangxu Emperor) seated together with his eldest son (who would go on to be the Xuantong Emperor) next to a 'butterfly' vase of this type on a stand; the photograph is reproduced by G.Avitabile, Vom Schatz der Drachen.
