A Small Collection of Chinese Cantonese Porcelain, including - a dish of shaped outline, 19th century, enamelled in colours with a central design of figures within a garden, 14.75ins (37.5cm) wide, a pair of similarly decorated plates, 7.75ins (19.7cm) diameter, and a crescent-shaped supper dish, 9.5ins (24.2cm) (25 pieces)Those items shown in the catalogue entry - footed dish of shaped outline - broken in two and rivetted. No other obvious damage. Pair of small plates - one with a stained star crack to base. This plate also with two small chips to rim, one with associated small hairline crack, the other with five chips to rim. Both with wear to enamels. Crescent-shaped supper dish - this appears to be of European manufacture. Small vase with gilt handles - small flat chip to upper part of one handle. Some very light scattered wear to gilt detail and enamels. Small vase with lion mask ring handles - some scattered wear to enamels. Remaining lots - pair of small bottle vases - both with very small chips to edge of rims. One with flat chip to footrim. Circular pot and cover - cover broken in half and badly restored. One small baluster-shaped vase - fritting to rim. Tea cup - small flat chip to rim. Coffee can - hairline crack from rim of approximately half the height of the can. All other pieces appear to be in reasonably good condition. Generally there is some very typiacl light scattered wear to both enamels and gilding.

A Chinese Porcelain Famille Verte Figure of a Standing Sage, 20th Century, 10ins (25.4cm) high, and three pairs of Chinese porcelain figures of cockerels, all 20th Century, tallest 11.75ins (32.5cm) highSage - three fingers of figure's natural right hand are broken off and missing. There is some old repainting to the back of the head, which may include some remodelling. This extends down to the tip of the beard resting on the figure's right shoulder. There also appears to be some spray/repainting across the beard which may suggest that the head has been broken off/damaged. One small chicken model has restoration to the comb and repainting/cellulose spray to both sides of the head. All other pieces appear to be in good condition with no other obvious damage/loss/restoration

A Chinese Famille Noire Porcelain Baluster-Shaped Vase, enamelled with rockwork and flowering branches, now converted to a lamp, 14ins (35.56cm) high, and shadeThis has been converted to electric light. The base, now with wooden stand, has been clearly drilled through to take an electric cable. No comment can be made about the edge of the base as it is now obscured by the stand. Likewise, the rim cannot be described because it now has a metal plate in position, save for a few obvious small scattered flat chips. Apart from the above observations it appears to be in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration

Some minor scattered pitting to the glaze to the body. Some scattered light surface scratches. Some scattered pitting to the enamels particularly the white enamels. Some rubbing to some of the black outline enamels. Some very minor scattered surface flakes to some enamels. There appears to be a Y-shaped hairline crack in the base.

A Chinese Celadon Porcelain Brush Pot with an incised running leaf motif, on three feet, impressed seal mark, 8ins (20.3cm) diameter x 6.25ins (15.9cm) highThere is a small restuck chip to the inner rim, with associated loss and with associated hairline crack running across the rim and down for approximately 7cm, with further hairline crack creating a 'Y'-shaped crack. This is approximately 7cm. The lower part of the vertical hairline crack from rim makes a return horizontally of approximately 4cm. There are further cracks, particularly from the base which may be hairline cracks or cracks within the glaze. There is a further hairline crack running across the rim and down into the body measuring approximately 5cm. Both the body from the rim and up from the base show a series of 'cracks', but not all appear to go through the body of the vessel.
