A Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain warming dish and cover, early 19th century, the warming plate centre decorated with a prisoner being brought before an official, the border with butterflies amidst flowering foliage, the domed cover with figures in confrontation, border the same, gilt bud finial, main dish diameter, 9¾in. (24.8cm.). *Condition: very minor gilt loss, otherwise very good.
A Chinese porcelain blue and white dish, Kangxi period (1662-1722), bearing six character Chenghua mark to base, painted with Long Eliza figures in a garden, the rim with five shaped floral reserves on a diaper ground, 10¼in. (26cm.) diameter, stapled repair to rim; together with three other Kangxi period dishes, all with some damage. (4) * Provenance: The Long Liza dish with Duveen, Liverpool wax seal to base. *Condition:- Long Eliza dish: Part of rim has been off and has an old stapled repair. No other faults.- Smaller dish with barbed rim and lady seated with fan: Two large pieces have been off the rim and glued in place. Chip missing from one break.- Phoenix dish: Two glued breaks to rim. One chip to rim to opposite side.- Floral dish: Three cracks to rim and glaze frits to rim throughout.

A pair of Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain baluster vases, c1800, the baluster vases terminating in a turquoise coloured rolled rim from a tapering neck, the body with birds amidst flowering foliage, the well detailed opposing reserves depicting elaborate court scenes with dignitaries, attendants, and warriors in a garden setting, formal border to foot, 8½in. (21.6cm.) high. *Condition: one vase with naive restoration to rim and neck, the other very good.

(21.9cm.) high. *Condition: Chip to loop of one handle and five small chips to edge of foot. No other faults.

(9.5cm.) high, all decorated with the typical manner with reserves of figures in gardens and interior settings, butterflies and birds amidst flowering foliage etc. (4) *Condition: the caddy cover with restoration and chips, large teapot with flea-bite nibbles to cover rim, all pieces with light wear and gilt loss, overall good.

New Bond Street entrance. *Condition: two plates with naive restoration to borders, three plates with flea-bite nibble to outer rim, some gilt loss, otherwise good.

(11.4cm.) high, cover restored, together with a Chinese porcelain ginger jar, the squat ovoid jar decorated in blue and white with peonies, lacks cover, also included an English tea bowl, decorated with Oriental design, stapled. (3) *Condition: all pieces with issues.

(7.3cm.) high; a small deep circular dish, painted with a floral urn within floral and diaper borders, 6 5/8in. (16.7cm.) diameter; a set of two tea bowls and a saucer, painted with flowering plants; a pair of lotus decorated saucers; another floral painted saucer; and a small tea bowl; together with a polychrome enamelled tea bowl with scalloped rim and painted flower mark to base within double concentric circles, 3 3/8in. (8.6cm.) diameter. (10) *Condition: - Teapot: Lacks cover. Glaze chip to spout, 2in. hairline from rim.- Deep dish: Good with no faults.- Pair tea bowls & saucer: One tea bowl good with one glaze frit to rim. The other with hairline and glaze frits to rim. Saucer has star crack and two glaze chips to rim.- Lotus saucers: Both good.- Floral saucer: 1in. hairline to rim.- Small tea bowl: Fritting around rim.
A set of three Chinese blue and white porcelain tea bowls and saucers, Kangxi period (1662-1722), the saucers painted with a central floral reserve within three ruyi shaped reserves painted with lake landscapes, below a diaper border, 4 3/8in. (11.1cm.) diameter, the bowls with conforming ruyi decoration. (6) * Provenance: Duveen, Liverpool.*Condition: Two saucers with a single glaze frit to rim, the other with glaze fritting around the rim. One tea bowl with single glaze frit to rim, the others good.

(35.5cm.) *Condition: the smaller with hairline to neck and potting imperfections to inner neck, the other with tiny flea-bite nibbles to rim, overall both good.
Two Chinese snuff bottles, one of square section in white glass, with enamelled decoration of flowering plants on a black and white speckled ground, the shoulder with stiff leaves, signed with four character Qianlong mark to base, 5.8cm. high; the other famille verte-jaune porcelain, of cylindrical form with dragon and flaming pearl decoration, signed with four character Qianlong mark to base, 8.2cm. high, both lack stoppers. (2) *Condition: - White glass: Two tiny frits to neck and foot. Otherwise good.- Porcelain: Small chip to foot.No other faults.Both lack stoppers.
A large Chinese porcelain blue and white baluster vase and cover, probably 19th century, four character Kangxi mark to base within double concentric circles, boldly painted with a nobleman and his attendants conversing with a farmer in a fenced garden with rocky outcrops and pine trees, below swirling clouds, the short, upstanding neck with ruyi decoration and a double concentric line above the foot, the domed cover with similar rocky decoration, 16¼in. (41cm.) high. *Condition: Small chip to foot and two other very small glaze chips nearby. No other faults.

(2) * Provenance: Second dish with partial Duveen, Liverpool wax seal to base. *Condition: - Scalloped dish: Chipping all around foot with one larger chip. Two rim chips, one with old 1in. hairline, and some glaze fritting to rim.- Duveen dish: Very good with no faults.

The arms are a version of those of Spencer, descended from the marriage of Charles Spencer, 3rd Earl of Sunderland and Lady Anne Churchill, younger daughter of the great Duke of Marlborough. The present arms appear to be hitherto unrecorded on Chinese armorial porcelain.++One in good condition with handling wear to gilding on rim and handle, the other cracked and chipped, no restoration
