A small repaired rim chip with attached hairline. A couple of small chips / spots of glaze loss to the handle. Some minor staining below the spout. Some natural enamel scratching.

Cm 61,00. Large globular vase (tianqiuping) of very fine execution. The heavily potted body has a lively polychrome decoration, with the classic auspicious subject of the "nine peaches". The beautiful theme of the two twin peach trees that weave their branches around the entire surface of the vase, a particularly beloved subject throughout the eighteenth century, is symbolic and auspicious and bases its visual strength on the delicate balance of the nine fruits that stand out against the white surface of the porcelain.
