A group of six 20th century Ardleigh Elliott heirloom porcelain twin handled music boxes belonging to the 'Beauties of the Red Mansion' to include the premier issue to the sixth issue which play the music of the Emperors Waltz, Sond of the Lark, Minuet from Petite Suite, Chinese Dance, Tristesse and Minuet Seranade. Each music pot has a fan shaped finial atop the lid wherein the music box is concealed as well as gilt handles and panels featuring Chinese paintings. Measures 12cm tall.
