A Chinese Porcelain Model of a Rabbit, Republic Period, with textured fur and enamelled decoration, 25cm; together with A Similar Model of a Rabbit, holding a ruyi branch in its mouth (2)Rabbit One - chips and losses to the paws. Rabbit Two - firing cracks to the feet and legs. Numerous chips to the ears and a chip to one foliate element.
Miniature Chinese perfume bottles: an inside painted perfume bottle decorated with flowers and landscape scene approx. 8cms; bone bottle engraved with bamboo and prunus blossom approx. 8.5cms; porcelain bottle decorated with birds approx. 7cms; and a red lacquer bottle decorated wth blossom, together with a small vase decorated with ornate floral pattern in a box. A Chinese Canton enamel Gu form porcelain vase, Qing, 19th century, the interior with a border of foliage, the exterior painted throughout with butterflies and birds amongst auspicious flowers and fruits to include peony, gourds, pomegranates, and lotus leaves and pods, between floral bands, 39.5cm high, on later wood standGenerally in good condition, although the underside has been pierced to accommodate an electric cable. The wood stand has previously been split in two through the centre.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Heavy and impressive curved, single-edged blade, with carvings at the edges and engravings along the back, with brass inlays on both sides. Carved and pierced bone hilt, the base covered with vegetable fibre wire binding, the pommel with long black horsehair. Partially carved wooden scabbard with braided, vegetable fibre bands. Suspension rope and various pendants made of bone and wood, and a Chinese porcelain cup. Small damages and missing parts. Malaysia, West Borneo or Sarawak. length 72.5 cm.
A large early 20th Chinese Guangxu mark and period porcelain vase of bottle shape. Salmon pink ground with large hand painted blossoming peach branches. Yellow ground border with repeating panels to top and base. Six character painted Guangxu reign mark to underside. Measures approx; 41cm tall. Appears in good condition with no visible signs of damage or restoration.
