For other similar examples see Miscellaneous Enamelled Porcelains, Plain Tri-Coloured Porcelains, The Complete Collection of the Treasures of the Palace Museum, Shang-hi 2009, no.128 and Qing Imperial Porcelain of the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong Reigns Exhibition at the Chinese University of Hong Kong 1995, illustrated in the catalogue no.30 During the reign of the Emperor Qianlong the regulations of the Palace of the Qing Dynasty specified designs allowed for use by Imperial household members where dishes with green ground and aubergine dragons where assigned to the Fifth Rank Concubine 2.5cm long deep scratch to rear of head of central dragon, an extremely faint hairline crack approximately 1cm long from rim as well as some other very minor wear. 140219
