Hand painted famille rose decoration throughout depicting birds of paradise, butterflies and floral medallions within white cartouche panels with further decoration and gilt to the borders. The interior painted with three goldfish / carp fish. The underside having a four character Tongzhi mark in Kaishu script. Measures approx; 32cm x 37cm. Condition; no visible signs of damage or repair. Please note this may be a later example (1920s) with an earlier mark.
