A Chinese export armorial tea set, Qianlong, bearing the armorial of Mortimer, comprising teapot and cover 13cm high, a sparrow beak jug 12cm high, a sugar bowl 12cm diameter, eleven tea bowls 8cm diameter, eight cups 6.5cm high and eight saucers, 13cm diameter/Literature: D S Howard 'Chinese Armorial Porcelain' Vol II p 477/Provenance: Spetchley Park/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: 496:Teapot with a small chip to tip of spout and a firing crack to inner rim. The cover with a hairline crack. Milk jug with small chip to tip of spout and associated flat rim chip.Three coffee cups lacking handles. Five in good condition. Seven tea bowls in good condition, three with rim chips and cracks, one with a hairline crack. Waste bowl in good condition. Two saucers with chips, two with cracks, four good condition.

The marks around the centre of the lip are faded in the centre. There are some marks to the base. We do not have any provenance for the piece. See attached images.
