A Chinese porcelain Canton chestnut basket and stand, 19th century, decorated in a famille rose palette with typical Canton designs, stand 26.5cm wide and basket 12cm high (2) Condition report; No obvious signs of restoration, cracks or major losses. Some small glaze pitting to the rims. Some gilt and enamel wear. The application of decoration to the reticulated areas appear slightly crude. Small minor areas of fritting visible.
