Eight Chinese export porcelain blue and white plates and octagonal platters - late 18th / early 19th century and to include: a closely matched pair of platters decorated with a lake landscape with pagoda and figures on a bridge within a Fitzhugh border, 29.5 cm long; another platter painted with similar lake landscape decoration, 31 cm long; five plates, three painted with lake landscapes, including a pair, one with a willow tree, peony and auspicious objects and the fifth of octagonal form, painted with two figures in a fenced garden beneath a willow tree, on a lake shore, all five plates with damage and old repairs.

A set of three Chinese porcelain famille jaune dishes - first half 20th century, of shallow cupped form with a circular foot, printed seal marks, with four circular reserves with iron red and gilt calligraphy, on a yellow enamelled ground with flowers, gourds and leafy scrolls, below a polychrome keywork band, 15 cm diameter, 4.2 cm high; together with a similar, larger dish, with painted four-character Qianlong mark but 20th century, painted with four four-lobed floral reserves on a yellow enamelled ground decorated with lotus flowers and polychrome leafy scrolls, below a Greek key band, 24.5 cm diameter, 6.2 cm high, chip and hairline crack to rim. (4)* Condition: Three small dishes - a little gilt wear, otherwise in good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. The large dish has a chip and hairline crack to the rim, plus several small glaze frits elsewhere to the rim.
Two late 18th / early 19th century Chinese porcelain bowls - one in blue and white, painted with a lake landscape with fisherman in a boat beside an island with a pagoda and fenced garden, narrow diaper border inside the rim, 14.3 cm diameter, 7.2 cm high; together with an Imari decorated bowl of near-identical size, both a/f.* Condition: Blue & white - small chip, tiny glaze frit and 6.5 cm hairline to the rim. Small C-shaped glaze crack to the opposite side of the rim. Imari - Three hairline cracks and tiny glaze frit to rim.
Five pieces of 20th century Chinese porcelain: a pair of garlic neck bottle vases, painted in the Wucai palette with lotus and leafy scrolls, 29 cm high, one with rim chip; a pair of famille rose-noir ginger jars (one with cover), painted iron red marks, painted with peacocks amidst peonies and prunus blossom, 20 cm high inc. cover; a famille rose figure of a seated Buddha, 15 cm high, with hardwood stand. * Condition: One Wucai vase has a small chip to the rim and another small chip to the inside of the footrim. The other vase is in good condition. The two ginger jars are in good condition. The single cover has a small chip to the inside edge of the rim. The Buddha is in good condition with no faults.
Nine pieces of 20th century Chinese blue-and-white porcelain and two Japanese: 1. two moon flasks with twin chilong handles, one painted with Buddhistic lions amidst clouds (20.5 cm high), the other painted with long bodied dragons amidst flowers (20.75 cm high), damage and repair to neck; 2. a pair of baluster vases painted with flowers and seed pods, four-character marks, 18.5 cm high, one with glued repair; 3. a prunus decorated baluster covered vase with fo-dog finial; 4. a baluster vase painted with peony plants in jardinieres, 15.7 cm high; 5. two vase covers with fo-dog finials; 6. three Japanese porcelain blue-and-white vases (a pair and a single) * Condition:- Moon flask (lions): Firing cracks around the handles and a few burst glaze bubbles to the edge of the main circular reserve to both sides. No other faults, chips, cracks or restoration.- Moon flask (dragons): The neck has been off and broken into several pieces, which have been reattached with glue. There is a also a large chip missing from the rim and a second slightly smaller (but still significant) chip. There is also a semi-circular glaze crack to the foot.- Pair baluster vases: One has a shallow chip to the rim. The other has a glue repaired break to the top section of the vase (was broken into several pieces) - and there are two long hairline cracks extending downwards from this break further into the vase.- Prunus vase & cover: Large piece missing from the rim and a small glaze chip to the nose of the dog finial.- Baluster vase (peony & jardiniere decorated): Good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration.- Vase covers: One with chip to edge and the other prunus ground cover with three chips to the edge and one chip to the socket.- Pair large Japanese vases: Both vases in good condition with no faults. The covers are both damaged - one has a small edge chip, and the other has been broken and has a glued repair, with chips to both ends of the break.
