Large Antique Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Ginger Jar With Lid. The body with flower, bird, insect and fruit motif. The lid with double happiness mark. Unsigned. Crazing, minor rubbing. Measures 10-3/4" x 10' dia. Provenance: Collection of Robert Eigelberger, Casa Phippsberger, a prominent Palm Beach, Florida estate. Shipping $165.00 (estimate $200-$300)
A 19th century Chinese blue and white porcelain moonflask, cylindrical neck with prunus blossom and trefoil pendant bands, the body with convex front and back mountain and lakeside pictorials within circular reserves, on branching prunus ground, twin dragon handles, on lightly flared oval foot with diaper and trefoil pendant decoration, 12in. (30.5cm.) high. * Condition: Was used as a lamp but not drilled or altered. Cork fitting currently inside neck which we have had difficulty removing. Good condition, with no damage.
A pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain moonflasks, 19th century, stout cylinder form neck with Greek key rim above florettes, on a body with two recessed circular reserves with twin dragons chasing pearls amidst chrysanthemums, the sides with trailing foliate design, twin handles in the form of fan-tailed dragons, each on a raised oval foot with petal lappet decoration, 10in. (25.5cm.) high. (2) * Condition: Good condition, with no damage or restoration.
A pair of 19th century Chinese export blue and white porcelain sauce tureens, of octagonal form, with lakeside scenes to fronts and backs, bovine mask handles to sides, 7½ x 4½in. (19 x 11.5cm.), lack covers; together with an oval tureen with similar decoration, 5½ x 4¼in. (14 x 11.4cm.), lacks cover; and an 18th/19th century Chinese blue and white bowl, with four character mark, 4½in. (11.5cm.) diameter, a/f. (4) * Condition: - Pair: One has three small glaze chips to rim. The other with large rim chip and hairline. - Oval: 6 x 4mm chip and small glaze chip to rim.- Bowl: Three hairlines from rim to edge of well, with corresponding rim chips.
A Chinese porcelain famille rose bowl, Hongxian printed four character mark to base, scalloped rim, decorated in enamels with Buddhistic emblem border to interior, peony bloom to well, exterior with peony and phoenix decoration, 6¼in. (15.8cm.) diameter, with hardwood stand; together with a matched saucer plate of conforming design, printed mark to base, 7½in. (19cm.) diameter. (3) * Condition: Bowl has a 60 x 30mm glued section of damage to rim. Extensive wear and flaking to enamel on bowl. Plate has 0.5in. hairline to rim. Decoration good.
A Chinese export 'Rooster' porcelain bowl, mid 20th century, continuous fruit border on gilt ground above alternating floral and fruit panels, interior of bowl decorated with four roosters in garden setting, exterior with five roosters and floral designs, printed seal mark to base, 3¼in. (8.3cm.) high, 8in. (20.3cm.) diameter. * Condition: Some gilt wear. Otherwise good.
A small group of blue and white Chinese porcelain drinking vessels, 18th / 19th century, including a cup and saucer with alternating panels of figural and floral design; a single cup with flowering peony decoration and cafe-au-lait rim; a scalloped rim tea bowl; and two others. (6) * Condition: - Cup & saucer: Glaze star crack to base and 1in hairline to rim of saucer. Cup good.- Peony cup: Two tiny glaze frits to rim. - Scalloped tea bowl: Two hairlines to rim.- Saucer: Two hairlines and four tiny glaze frits to rim.- Cup: 1in. hairline. Tiny glaze frit to rim.
Two 19th century Chinese Imari porcelain tea caddies, of elongated octagonal form with cylindrical necks and covers, decorated in the Imari palette, one with flowering Prunus branches, raised on corner feet; the other with clobbered decoration, both 4¾in. (12cm.) high. (2) * Condition: Some gilt wear to both. Clobbered example has large chip and three glaze chips to base, plus extensive glaze chipping to top edge and one corner of body (due to air bubbles in body beneath). Cover broken in two and glued. The other caddy has three large glaze chips to lower edge and small air bubble hole to glaze to top edge of body. Cover has several small glaze chips to edges.
A Chinese porcelain Daoguang bowl, (1821-50), the conical bowl with florette diaper ground to rim with three stylised foliate reserves, the well with Chinese cruciform emblem with two pin engraved collector marks, 7½in. (19cm.) diameter. * Condition: Three small chips to inside of foot rim. Otherwise good.
A Chinese blue and white porcelain footed dish, base with Qianlong seal mark (1736-95), possibly of the period, circular dish with uprising rim, decorated with a central design of cruciform ruyi sceptre arms and ribbons issuing from a central circular reserve with waves and stars, with a border of Buddhist emblems linked by ribbons, Greek key to outer rim, the tapered foot within a border of stylised ruyi petals, 6in. (15.25cm.) diameter, 1¼in. (3.2cm.) high. * Condition: Good condition. Minor glaze scratching to interior. No chips, cracks or restoration.
A pair 18th century Chinese blue and white porcelain pill boxes, of globular form, covers with flowering prunus design, the lower sections with foliate pattern, 1¼in. (3.2cm.) high. (2) , * Provenance: The Hatcher Collection, Christies June 1984. ** Condition: One with two small chips to inner rim of base section. The other in good condition.
An 18th century Chinese Ming style blue and white porcelain specimen vase or water dropper, probably Qianlong period (1736-95), barrel form with concave top with central raised cylindrical neck, decorated with Peony and Chrysanthemum plants within two rectangular reserves with everted corners, within diaper borders, 6¼in. (15.75cm.) high. * Condition: Several wavy glaze cracks to rim - old with brown discoluration due to age. Some glaze crazing to other side of rim. One with tiny glaze frit at edge. Small chip to top of neck/nozzle. Glaze fault to edge of base.
An 18th century Chinese blue and white porcelain wine cup, the base with six character Chenghua marks, heavily potted, straight sided form with raised circular foot, toothed diaper border to interior rim, the exterior with a scene of three children at play in a rocky garden, 3¼in. (8.25cm.) diameter, 3in. (7.6cm.) high, rim restored. * Condition: Four clear glaze filled restored chips to rim - several others much smaller to inner rim. Some small scratches to exterior glaze. Small firing flaw line to body just to right of small firs in decoration.
Three Kangxi period Chinese blue and white porcelain tea bowls, one of lotus form, the moulded petals each with single flower decoration below a floral panelled rim and inner rim, the interior base with flowers issuing from rockwork, on raised circular foot with single Yu character mark, 2in. (5.1cm.) high; the second of flared form with everted rim, decorated with auspicious emblems above stylised waves, on raised circular foot, peach mark to base, 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high; the third smaller, with birds within fruit laden branches, 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high. (3) * Condition: Two in good condition, with no faults. The smallest bowl with some chipping to inside of foot rim.

(12.7cm.) diameter; together with a miniature dish with six character Chenghua marks but probably 18th century, with central pictorial of a galloping deer in a wooded landscape, the exterior with birds perched upon branches, 3¾in. (9.5cm.) diameter. (2) * Condition: - Larger dish: Partially filled and overpainted chip to rim exterior. Minute glaze frit to one rim barb.- Small dish: Small rim chip.
