Chinese Jingdezhen porcelain vase, mid-20th century, the painted polychrome landscapes within reserved panels on a pink ground, the cover with shaped foo dog finial, stamp to base for Zhongguo Jingdezhen Zhi Factory D, H31cm There are no obvious chips or cracks. There is some spotting to pink areas.
Chinese porcelain fish dragon plate, Kangxi period, decorated in underglaze blue with pictorial representation of the fish-dragon Longmen legend and showing the metamorphosis of the carp into dragon over waves, painted censor mark to base, W21cm. Together with two 19th century Chinese export blue and white plates. There are approx. ten small and shallow flake chips/nibbles to the rim of the dragon plate, minor wear and glaze imperfections throughout. The two shaped plates are pitted in a few areas.
Chinese porcelain 'Millifleur' ovoid ginger jar, Republic period, the body and domed lid profusely painted in polychrome enamels, base with six-character apocryphal Qing mark, on hardwood base, max H30cm. The jar is in good condition with no visible breaks, cracks or damages. There is very light rubbing and wear to the paint work. The wooden stand has some small breaks and damages.
Chinese export porcelain 'Millefleur' pattern tea set for four, late Republic period, the profusely decorated bodies with polychrome floral decoration on a scrolled rust red background, consisting of four cups and saucers and teapot. Housed in original fitted case with paper export labels to exterior, the original 'Lee Wah Porcelain Co. of Shanghai' packaging still present. One cup has a damaged handle (still present for repair purposes), other wise good with very light wear, and obvious wear to the edges of the case.
Chinese famille rose '100 flowers' porcelain vase, Republic period, the Ruyi handles with hanging fish tassels, body painted in polychrome peonies, chrysanthemums, other foliage on a gilt background, H32cm. When looking from the inside, a thin hairline crack is visible close to the base, signs of old glue to the base rim and very minor wear to the enamels and gilding.
Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vase, late Republic period, the baluster shape vase decorated with female attendants in garden scene below a border of ruyi, chrysanthemums and foliate scrollwork, attached on ebonised hardwood base, H35cm. The vase is glued to the base so the base mark cannot be seen, otherwise in fine condition. We will not remove the base so there is no chance of damaging vase.
Chinese porcelain Famille Rose table lamp, mid 20th century, of baluster shape, the reserve panels finely painted with attendants in a garden, between profusely decorated foliate backgrounds within Ruyi and geometric borders, on hardwood base and topped with matching shade with printed garden attendant decoration. Max H60cm with shade.The lamp has been converted from a vase and has the associated factors concerning that such as a drilled hole through the base. There is a small hairline crack to the rim of approx. 2cm long. Otherwise good with light wear to the shade and base.
Chinese Millifleur porcelain vase, Republic period, blue archaic style handles applied on a body of polychrome peonies, chrysanthemums and other flowers on a gilt background, interior of a Celadon colour glaze, fixed to hardwood base, H38cm. The vase has been glued to its wooden base, so the base mark is not available to view, light wear throughout. There is some gilding and paint losses with white spots in places.
