Bow; a mid-18th century blue and white painted plate decorated in the Chinese style, diameter 17cm and attributed to Bow, a mid-18th century two-pronged fork with blue and white porcelain handle (2). CONDITION REPORT Scratching to front of plate, small chip to bottom middle. 2cm hairline crack to reverse. Fork - 2.5cm crack to top of handle, discolouration to handle in places. Graze to handle.

A Chinese porcelain blue and white bowl, with slightly flared rim, footed rim, decorated with a scenes of bridge over water, blue landscape painting with a scholar walking on the bridge, against the white ground, inside with a band of decoration on the rim. Yongzheng period, 18th century, 10.5cm diam. and 7.5cm high. Provenance to a previous Nanking Cargo sale of Christie’s lot 3122.
A Chinese blue and white brush water box and an oviform porcelain attachment. The box designed to hold water in side and brush holding on the lid, decorated with scrolling flowers. The oviform porcelain is possibly a decorative attachment on the official hat or on the belt, blue and white landscape over the body. 18th century. A rare Worcester moulded teapot and cover c.1760, the barrel shape embossed with a Chinese landscape including a man fishing beneath a flowering prunus tree, with willow on the opposite bank, the reverse with large prunus sprays, between horizontal foliate scroll bands, a few small chips, 18cm. (2) Provenance: the Professor Richard Clarke Collection. Purchased from Stockspring Antiques in 1999. Cf. Bonhams, The Zorensky Collection of Worcester Porcelain Part II, 23rd February 2005, lot 51 for a similar coloured example with the prunus and willow tree reversed.
An unusual Russian porcelain sauceboat Imperial Manufactory, St Petersburg in the reign of Nicholas I (1825-55), modelled in the manner of a carved Chinese libation cup with prunus branches, rocky mountains and ruyi cloud scrolls, raised on three feet, decorated in gilt and white on a turquoise ground, the interior rim decorated with a formal leaf border, underglaze blue factory mark, 18.8cm.
A rare Worcester teapot and cover c.1753-54, decorated in the famille rose palette with long-tailed pheasants perched on and beneath holey rockwork beside flowering peony branches, the flowers echoed to the cover and spout, spoiled red anchor mark, a little restoration to the spout and cover, 20.5cm. (2) This design is directly copied from an original on Chinese porcelain from the Yongzheng period (1723-35). Cf. Bonhams, 9th September 2009, lot 67 for a similar finely painted example.
