The larger two of goddesses, and the tallest wearing a fine gilded robe (39.5cm high)Condition Report: The four pieces look good, the only slight issue is that there is a possibility that the large figure with the gilded coat may have suffered damage to the foot may have been off and then restored. It is difficult to tell with confidence.
Lot 27
A selection of ceramics to include a pair of 19th century Staffordshire spill vases, a late 19th century Chinese baluster-shaped porcelain vase-and-cover in Kangxi-style, a Japanese imari bowl and a pair of signed Japanese reticulated hexagonal vases Condition Report: The vase and cover are in reasonable condition, no major problems although there is a tiny amount of fritting around the bottom of the foot, the lid appears OK, the two hexagonal Japanese vases appear in good overall order, the flower brick does not present with any issues, the imari bowl looks good with no cracks or restorations. The soapstone pig has a few nibbles around the edge of the face, the blue & white tankard appears a little discoloured to the underside of the foot as expected and commensurate with age. The male of the two spill vases has a small chip to the inside of the lip of the actual spill (orange part) and the female vase goods good - no condition issues.
