An early 19th century Chinese porcelain famille verte bottle vase, decorated to the bulbous body with four panels depicting a Kylin, tiger, mandarin ducks and confronting birds, the neck with two panels depicting antiques, auspicious objects and insects amongst blooms, all within a busily decorated ground with insects and floral sprays between ruyi bands and separated by a band featuring four babao, double concentric mark to underside, 46cm high (at fault) (extensive rivet repairs and cracked throughout) CONDITION REPORT: Extensively damaged. Large section to neck re glued. Large section to body with staple repair. Un-glazed foot rim. Pitted. Surface wear, enamel chips and scratches. (AT FAULT)
A collection of ten Chinese snuff bottles comprised of three porcelain examples, two glass examples and four resin examples, the largest 8.2cm high (with lid), the smallest 5.4cm high CONDITION REPORT: Blue and white porcelain bottles: Condition good. 66mm and 73mm high. Porcelain bottle decorated with birds: Top ground down, with wear to the decoration. There is a small chip to the foot and the mark is worn, 55mm high. Porcelain bottle decorated with figures: Some wear to the decoration, 68mm high. Carved bottle: Very small nibbles to the top rim of the bottle, 82mm high inc coral stopper. Painted glass bottle: Chips to foot rim which have been ground down. Decoration worn. One tiny nibble to the outer top rim. Wooden spoon a possible replacement with string fixing to lid, 78mm high including green stone stopper. The set of four bottles are in good order apart from the two broken tops, 73mm high including stopper where present.
