Small Chinese porcelain Famille Rose teapot of ovoid form decorated with figures in polychrome enamels and calligraphic inscriptions, 12cm high also a small Blanc de Chine figure of Guan Yin, 16.5cm high (2). Teapot generally in ok condition, rubbed gilding to knop and spout. Glaze defect to spout interior. Small line running from an air bubble in glaze on main body, possibly a fine crack, also a very fine light crack visible to interior. Some glaze impurities. Figure has a firing crack or possible restoration on front lotus flower petal. Hand has been glued in.

A Chinese porcelain famille rose-verte octagonal charger, F80414/92. 19th century, with scalloped gilt-edged rim, the central exterior scene depicting scholars holding a scroll within a bamboo fenced garden, with lake, temple and mountains behind, within borders of birds and butterflies, two character mark in underglaze blue to base, 17¾in. (45cm.) diameter.. *Old, shallow chip to rim edge (25 x 6mm). Some dulling and wear to gilt rim. A few other tiny (under 3mm) glaze chips to rim edge. Circular shallow chip to underside of rim (9 x 8mm), and one other tiny chip on opposite side. Small rough unglazed spot to base, just off-centre, which includes part of one of the blue overglaze painted marks.
A Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain bowl, 19th century, painted in coloured enamels with Oriental pheasants and butterflies among fruiting branches and flowers on a white ground, beneath a band of dense foliage on a gilt ground to the outer and inner rim, interspersed with pheasants, bats, butterflies, peonies, chrysanthemums, pumpkins and roundels, the well with an enamelled roundel depicting a pheasant amongst flowers and foliage, 11¾in. (30cm.) diameter.. * Provenance: Martel Maides Auctions, 26th Nov. 2009, Lot 69.. **Two of the pheasant versions with star cracks to bases, all with natural inclusions to glaze, wear to foot, overall good.
