A group of late eighteenth and early nineteenth century Chinese export porcelain wares, circa 1780-1820. Comprising a hand-painted teapot (no lid) decorated with floral swags and superbly-detailed monograms to each side, a similar cup decorated with floral swags and an armorial to the front, a floral tea bowl, and a moulded floral dish with green ground. Teapot: 22 cm long, dish: 15 cm wide. (4)From the estate of the late Norman Walmsley. Condition: Slight wear to the gilding in places.

A gilt-decorated and famille rose enameled Chinese porcelain snuff bottle. Qianlong mark, late Qing/Republic period. Each with two opposing reserves framing a 'children at play' motif and set against gilt-heightened flowers and scrolls on a green-enameled background. Refer to a nearly identical bottle, from the Ruth and Carl Barron Collection, sold at Christie's, New York, 15 March 2017, sale 13772, lot 363, and a pair of similar porcelain bottles, sold at Bonhams, San Francisco, 7 December 2018, sale 25287, lot 107. A fine Chinese famille rose enameled porcelain snuff bottle. Daoguang mark and of the period. The compressed globular bottle painted around the sides with a scene from the well-known Ming dynasty legendary love story 'Baishe Zhuan' (White Snake). With old exhibition label near lower portion. Chinese Ch'ien-lung Period Porcelain Snuff Bottle. Mark and period of Ch'ien-lung period 1739-1793. Of spade form with a framed panel on each side, decorated in famille-rose enamels with three cocks perking on grass on both sides. The neck and narrow shoulders with formalized floral scrolls in blue and white, the base with a Qianlong four-character mark in seal script. Provenance: David Chang Collection (San Francisco California). Rare 19th C. Chinese Porcelain Snuff Bottle. 1830-1900, of pear shape, decorated in iron-red and multi-color enamels with Zhong-Kui, the Demon Queller in his red robe, on a horse catching the ghost in one continuous scene. The base with a four- character Qianlong mark . Provenance: David Chang Collection (San Francisco, California). Painted to one side with a pleasant garden scene with an insect hovering near plants under an inscription, the reverse depicting a graceful prunus branch in a crackled porcelain vase; signed Zhou Leyuan with one seal, dated autumn 1892. Provenance: David Chang collection (San Francisco, California). Acquired in 2000. The painting style belongs to Shanghai School, the subject matter can be traced to the Song dynasty. Compare a very similar bottle by Zhou Leuan, also painted with insects, illustrated and published in "The World in a Bottle" Chinese Inside Painting Snuff Bottles from the collection of Joseph Baruch Silver and Traditional Chines Paintings Pg. 71, Fig. C14 , and an inside-painted bottle with a vase containing a prunus branch published and illustrated in Chinese Snuff Bottles From the Richard F.
