Filled in at the top section probably to be used as a lamp base. The vase however is in good overall condition with no signs of damage or repair. No visible cracks or chips.

A CHINESE BRONZE IMITATION PORCELAIN FIGURE OF LUXING, YOU CHANGZI (1874-1922). The brown glazed and gilt decorated porcelain God of wealth figure dressed in long robes secured by a belt at the waist on a cloud form base holding a ruyi sceptre. Eight-character impressed factory mark to base 'Fujian Huiguan, You Changzi zao'. (Made by You Changzi, Fujian Guild). 31.5cm tall. Slight possible loss to end of ruyi sceptre. No other major signs of damage and no signs of repair. Minor areas of rubbing to gilt decoration.

To include a dish decorated in underglaze blue and red with lion dog playing with a ribboned pierced ball within a band of concentric lines; Together with a blue and white bowl decorated with coastal scene. 26.5cm diam. (2) One 4.5cm hairline running from the rim with one very minor chip to rim. No signs of repairs. Bowl with slight chips and glaze loss to rim with no cracks or repairs.

(4) Largest dish with 5cm section of filled chip repair at rim, with no cracks or chips. Small blue and white with areas of glaze loss to rim, otherwise in good condition. One of the Imari dishes with two chips to rim and staple repair, the other in good overall condition.

The inner surface well carved with an elaborate peony design, the outer wall carved with parallel groves covered in a deep olive-green glaze. 17.5cm diam. Provenance: from the collection of the late Grahame Clarke (1942 – 2014), master potter known for founding two potteries, Highland Stoneware in Lochniver in 1942 and Grahame Clarke Porcelain in London in 1991. This bowl purchased by Mr. Clarke in 2007 as Northern Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1127), possibly of the period.In fine condition, no cracks or chips and only minimal surface wear to the interior. No signs of repair.
