A large 19th century Chinese porcelain ginger jar and cover painted in underglaze blue with blossoming prunus, bearing Kangxi double ring mark to base, height 30.5cm, on fitted hard wooden stand. CONDITION REPORT: Size without stand approx 30cm, surface pitting, fritting and underglaze dirt throughout, general light surface wear, glaze fault to lower section, manufacturing imperfections throughout.

CONDITION REPORT: Has a ring, nibbles and losses to glaze around rim, one small chip, scratches to bowl, general surface wear and manufacturing imperfections throughout, losses and rubbing to decoration.
A Chinese famille rose porcelain tea caddy, 18th century, height 11.2cm, width 8cm, depth 4cm. Provenance: together with a letter from The Haven, Polpperro, Cornwall dated August 30th 1927 inscribed 'Dear Miss Butler, please accept this little antique tea-poy with kindest wishes for true happiness. It was selected by Dr Brazil, who is a very good judge of old china, so I think there is no doubt as to its genuine-ness. Hoping Saturday will be fine and sunny, Sincerely yours Angela Brazil'.
A Chinese famille rose porcelain brush pot, 19th century, with enamel and painted decoration of two Samuri warriors and rows of calligraphy, height 12cm, width 9.5cm, depth 9.5cm. Condition report: A old hairline running from one top corner, approximately 6cm total length. Another runs from the adjacent corner, length 3cm. Wear to the feet and two metal finials missing.
A Chinese porcelain bowl of round form with slightly outward turned rim, decorated in famille rose style with spaced gilt circular shou characters within an over glaze blue glazed foliated medallion and divided by copper red and gilt bats affront guarding a floral style logo, rim and foot with borders of ru-i and palmate motifs, the foot with six character zhuanshu Qianlong seal mark, but later, height 5cm, diameter 10cm, with a blue canvas fitted box. Condition report: No condition issues.
A Chinese porcelain red glazed gilt decorated tea bowl, with plain turquoise interior, the exterior with floral sprays, blue Qianlong seal mark, 19th century, height 3.2cm, diameter 6.9cm, and a slightly larger companion bowl of rounded form with outward formed rim, decoration varied by a palmate border around the foot which has an identical reign mark on a white glazed foot, height 4.7cm, diameter 8.3cm. Condition report: No condition issues other than internal abrasion.
A Chinese blue and white decorated porcelain wide mouthed, round sided bowl, the exterior decorated with medallions enclosing the Daoist Eight Trigrams/Diagrams divided by stylised bat shaped clouds and cranes in flight, above the foot a band of stylised rocks, breaking waves, on an arched linear ground above which are two bands of rings symbolising sea spray, the interior with a rim border of four floral reserves on a diaper ground, below a centrally placed medallion of a phoenix within rings, the foot with six character Qianlong mark but later, height 7.6cm, diameter 18.7cm. Condition report: Provenance : Was previously owned by the local vendors Grandfather who served in the Navy in WW2.
A Chinese porcelain Ming style begging bowl, the shaped bowl decorated in green and black enamels with a facing dragon guarding a sacred pearl, paired on each side with dragons affront guarding smaller sacred pearls, all on a ground of scattered curling cloud motifs, foot partly unglazed encircling a raised glazed circular medallion carrying a Yongzheng six character mark, but later, surrounded by three paper labels, the first inscribed 'Period of Emperor YUNG-CHENG 1722-1726', the second inscribed 'Treasures Exhibition 1928', the third inscribed '1723', bowl height 14cm, diameter 20cm. Condition report: No condition issues.
A Chinese porcelain famille rose gilt decorated bowl, 18th century, the cartouche to the front with seated female figures and a flower spray to the rear, height 6.4cm, diameter 14cm.Provenance: paper label to the underside inscribed Martin Hurst Collection. Condition report: Restored. The restoration is in relation to the crack which goes from one side of bowl to other, looking at the inside of the bowl the restoration is very good. The crack is very fine and is not easily seen on outside of the bowl.
A Chinese Canton porcelain Song style Kuan bronze hu form vase, with a greyish white bold crackled glaze, the pear shaped body applied around the shoulder with Buddhist lion style mask mock handles supporting rings and two encircling grooves with a brown wash glaze, the latter repeated on the wide foot rim and a moulded recessed square panel with a Yongzheng six character zhuanshu script seal mark. Late Guangxu, height 20.5cm. Condition report: In good overall condition, no condition issues.
A Chinese porcelain bowl of rounded form with everted rim, decorated in famille rose enamels on an all over maroon red ground, with alternate variations of Indian lotus with scrolling fronds linked with ru-i head motif, the foot with four character Qianglong mark Cai xiu tang zhi, 'Hall of brilliant elegance", height 7.7cm, diameter 17cm. Condition report: Two hairlines cracks. The top of one has a tiny chip.Provenance : A local vendor inherited the bowl in the 1980's from a cousin living at The Lizard, Cornwall.
A Swansea blue and white transfer printed octagonal bowl, 19th century, decorated with willow trees on a Chinese balcony, impressed 'Swansea' to base, height 8.5cm, width 28cm, depth 24.7cm. Condition report: Rings true. Small crack on base support. Pitting to inside of bowl, a scratch to the porcelain under the glaze done during making, generally in good condition.

CONDITION REPORT: Sconce loose on crackle glaze lamp, rubbing, scratches and discolouration to metal mounts and stand, all lamps with general wear, surface scratches, pitting, etc. Large chip and loss to floral moulding on relevant lamp.
A late 19th century Samson porcelain Chinese style bottle vase with knopped neck, painted in enamels with floral sprays and centred with crest, height 34cm, a similar example with squat body, and a baluster lamp base, all marked (3). CONDITION REPORT: All appear to be in good condition apart from some minor traces of wear commensurate with age and some minor losses to the raised enamel decoration of the lamp base, some areas of rubbing.
