A Chinese 19th century famille rose porcelain tray, the centre painted with an interior scene of an attendant offering a gift to a female dancer 24.5cm x 17.5cm Condition Report:Generally in good original condition. Small clean chip to the top of the left hand rim, 4mm x 3mm. Small worn area with flat chip near the bottom left hand corner, 5mm x 3mm, gilding to the rim edge.
TEK SING CARGO Three pieces of early 19th century Chinese porcelain, comprising one blue and white circular dish, 18cm diameter; and two bowls, the largest 14cm diameter. History: The `Tek Sing` (or `True Star`) was a large three-masted Chinese ocean-going junk which sank, after running aground on a reef in the Gaspar Strait, on 6th February 1822. It had sailed from Amoy (now Xiamen, in Fujian province, China) and was bound for Batavia in the Dutch East Indies (now Jakarta, Indonesia), laden with a cargo of porcelain and 1600 Chinese immigrants, most of whom lost their lives. Following the discovery of the wreck in 1999 the salvageable cargo was raised from the sea bed, having lain undisturbed for nearly 180 years.

Late 18th century Chinese Export blue, white and gilt porcelain mug with panel of pavilions by a lake, floral sprays, floral and key pattern borders and double reeded strap entwined handle. Unmarked. 14cm high. Conditon report:Good condition. Nice bright gilding to exterior although rubbed on key border. No cracks noted but firing cracks around base of handle and very slight damage to foliage. Some glaze impurities.

(10).condition report - Teapot - Fine haircrack (2") running under spout, firing cracks to interior base. Rubbed gilding and enamel.Puce teabowl and saucer - Bowl good, slight wear to enamel and gilt. Glaze impurities and firing cracks to underside. Saucer has tiny airbubble to rim and small nicks to footrim, impurities and slight wear. Green teabowl and saucer - bowl good condition. Saucer has crack and rim chip. Rubbed enamels.Pair Famille Rose saucers - 1 has two very fine cracks to rim and discoloured glaze to underside, other good condition. Both have very slightly rubbed enamels.Modern yellow pair saucers - Good "Foreign".Straw bound miniature bowl - Worn enamel, straw work generally good.
Large late 18th century Chinese famille rose porcelain bowl, the exterior decorated with cranes in a garden with fence and peonies, the interior with floral spray and lattice border. Unmarked 27cm diameter.Condition report:Interior - Glaze impurities, oxidised and rubbed enamels. Some light scratches also larger 2" scratch, which may be very fine but not visible from exterior and rings when tapped.Exterior - Rubbed enamels and gilt, glaze impurities. Very fine 3" underglaze discoloured line or crack where bowl meets footrim though not visible on underside of footrim.As images.
