Pair of large 19th century Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vases, each of baluster form with twin zoomorphic handles, decorated in enamels with panels of lively court scenes, against a ground painted with blossoming flowers, fruiting vines, birds, grasshoppers and butterflies, between ruyi and key borders, H60cmCondition Report:Wear commensurate with age, including some surface scratches and general wear, including rubbing, pitting and areas of slight discolouration.Each vase has cracks through one handle, and both handles on each vase have been overpainted, indicating that the other handles may also have sustained damage. Vases may also have some possible over painting, particularly around rim. Interiors of rim are decorated in turquoise, which has dripped down the necks.
