AN UNUSUAL CHINESE 17TH/18TH CENTURY BLUE & WHITE PORCELAIN BOWL, the sides painted with repeated coiled dragons clasping an auspicious tablet, the interior similarly painted, the interior rim with a formal shou and scroll border, the base with a six-character Chenghua mark, 5.6in high &10.4in diameter.
Two Chinese porcelain bowls, a pottery figure of a pheasant, an Oriental figure of a cockerel, a Continental porcelain figure of a lady in 18th Century dress with basket of grapes, together with a similar figure of a gentleman, a small ceramic fairing of a boy seated in a chair and a 19th Century blue and white plate, together with a Quimper twin-handled rectangular dish, a pair of Czechoslovakian candlesticks, etc CONDITION REPORTS Chinese bowls approx. 16.5 cm diameter each, bowl with metal hanger has star crack to base, cracks and chips to rims, the other bowl has crack to side and chips to rims, various firing blemishes and firing deposits to both. Blue transfer decorated plate is cracked and chipped. Figures have some damage and losses. Oriental figure of a cockerel is approx. 24 cm high, overall with some wear and scuffs, and some surface chips. Quimper dish is indistinctly inscribed "Gaulin??" verso (please see photo), overall has quite a lot of scuffs and scratches, crazing and hairline cracks. Other items with wear, scuffs and some frits/chips.

A 19th century Chinese porcelain jar and cover painted in underglaze blue with two quatrilobed panels depicting vase of flowers and other objects, on a prunus blossom blue ground, bears underglaze blue four character Kanxi mark to base, height 20cm (lid af), two similar smaller examples, a prunus decorated jar with hardwood cover and a 19th century small porcelain moon flask, painted to the two medallions with an official and attendant in a fence landscape scene on a lotus scroll ground with ruyi sceptre, bears underglaze blue four character Kangxi mark to base, height 15.5cm, also three hardwood stands (8). CONDITION REPORT: Chip to the rim of the moon flask, the lid of the largest ginger jar has been broken and reglued in three pieces, there is significant nicotine staining throughout, otherwise the other jars and the base of the large jar are in good condition.
A large 19th century Chinese porcelain bottle vase with squat body and cylindrical straight neck, painted in underglaze blue with a design of lotus heads and entwining scrolls, with auspicious objects including a pair of carp, conch shell etc, bears underglaze blue double ring mark to base, height 39cm (hairline to body). CONDITION REPORT: There has been an impact/bruise to centre of the bulging body and a crack emanates from this either side about a quarter of the circumference each side.
An unusual early 18th century Chinese porcelain model of a recumbent cat, decorated with patches of underglaze cobalt oxide applied with a blow pipe, unmarked, length 30cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both ears both front paws have been professionally restored and there is a hairline to the tail and a few firing cracks elsewhere.
An early 19th century Chinese porcelain baluster vase, painted in underglaze blue with exotic birds and insects amongst floral sprays between a wave border, the straight neck painted with lotus sprays, unmarked, height 40cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: A section of the rim 8 x 8cm has been reglued, otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
