18TH CENTURY CHINESE PORCELAIN MINIATURE MELON SHAPED TEAPOT overall decorated with famille rose reserved panels, together with stand alone flower and foliage sprays on an indented pedestal base with loop handle. Probably Yong Zheng period, unmarked. 11.5cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: General external wear to decoration in places, particularly the gilding on the knop. Internally visible firing crack and glaze flaw with additional firing crack which appears to have extended.
CHINESE PORCELAIN BALUSTER SHAPED STRAIGHT SIDED ROULEAU VASE having straight sided neck with angled everted rim, the body decorated with an enamelled study of Li Tie Guai standing upon a crab underneath butterflies (a Daoist Immortal skilled in medicines), underglazed blue concentric circle marks to the base. Late 19th/early 20th Century. 40.5cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Very dirty but no obvious damage apart from a firing crack to the rim.
A GROUP OF CHINESE CANTON PORCELAIN FAMILLE VERTE DESIGN ITEMS to include; baluster shaped vase with domed dog of fo cover (27cm high approx), petalled shallow bowl, another small oval dish or bowl, an oval shaped lidded box with its cover and a barrel shaped jar with its cover. All decorated with reserved panels of birds and insects amongst foliage and figures in interiors. Unmarked. Petalled bowl: 22cm wide approx, small dish 14cm wide approx, oval lidded box 13cm wide approx, jar 12cm high approx. (5) (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: The vase and cover has some surface wear to gilding particularly but no obvious damage or losses. The petalled bowl has minor surface wear, no obvious damage or losses. The small dish has chips and frits around its edge. The oval box and cover has chips to its inner rim and the barrel shaped jar - the cover has been broken and glued together.
A CHINESE PORCELAIN TURQUOISE GLAZED BALUSTER VASE, crazed in the glaze throughout, unmarked, underside of base white glaze, s.d. to rim, height 46cm, together with a late 19th Century Chinese ginger jar, lacks cover, yellow ground, decorated with foliate design, height 13cm (2) (condition: turquoise glaze vase has a glued repair to top rim with a curved crack extending approximately 7cm down from the repair, the underside of the base rim is rough where the glaze has chipped away, as well as four more substantial chips, uneven glaze coverage towards the base, ginger jar has some wear to the paint)
A CHINESE XIANFENG PORCELAIN POLYCHROME ENAMELLED BOWL, of shallow form, the rim decorated with flowers and leaves on a latticed blue ground, the bowl interior with two iron red dragons with gilt scales and five claws chasing flaming pearls amongst clouds, the centre with a chrysanthemum, the bowl exterior with further chrysanthemums, above a fan shaped border, six character mark in underglaze blue to base, chipped and cracked, diameter 20.5cm x height 6.5cm, together with a Chinese porcelain blue and white decorated bowl, the exterior with continuous scene of fisherman, boat on water, buildings, landscape and animal by three section fence, four character mark in underglaze blue to the base, chip to rim, diameter 12.5cm x height 6.5cm (2) (condition: polychrome bowl has three chips to the rim, one of which has a stained crack to the sides of it, gilding worn to rim in places, the blue and white bowl has a chip to the top rim and a nibble to the glaze on the rim)
A PAIR OF CHINESE PORCELAIN BALUSTER VASES AND COVERS, decorated in underglaze blue with trailing foliage and lotus flowers, the domed covers with dog of fo finials, one cover a.f, the vases with moulded mask and ring handles, unmarked, height 32cm (2) (condition: both vases have yellow adhesive residue from sellotape having been used to keep the covers attached to the vases, one cover is badly damaged with extensive losses, some black speckles in the glaze around the shoulders)
A JAPANESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE VERTE WAVY RIM PLATE, the zig zag border surrounding an asymmetric lattice design with mythical beast and flaming pearls, the outer rim with underglaze blue band decorated with red and green foliage, four character mark in underglaze blue, diameter 22.2cm, together with a mid 18th Century Chinese export octagonal plate, decorated with two deer beneath hanging lanterns, cracked, width 22cm and two porcelain tea bowls, enamelled with birds amongst foliage, the other with four enamelled sprigs of flowers/bamboo, diameters 9.5cm x and 8.5cm respectively, all items with some damage (condition: famille verte plate has some light scratching and some patches of wear to the enamel, nibbles to the rim, some patches of white emulsion or plaster to the outer rim, octagonal plate has a crack and several small chips around the rim, both tea bowls have cracks from the rim, the larger one with rim chips)

A PAIR OF 20TH CENTURY CHINESE PORCELAIN FAMILLE ROSE TABLE LANTERNS, of hexagonal form, reticulated sections divided by panels of scrolls, flowers and various symbols, printed seal marks to bases, height 39cm (condition: one lantern has the base attached by adhesive pads, the other is loose, both bases have felt pads fastened to the undersides, the loose base has a chip on the uppermost rim that inserts inside the lantern, it also has a small patch of enamel loss around the foot rim, no restoration or major damage noted)
