A pair of Chinese famille rose armorial two-handled double-lipped sauceboats: of quatrefoil silver form with fox-head loop handles, each painted with a crest and the arms of Hoadley within an ornate foliate cartouche, Yongzheng/early Qianlong, 22 x 19cm [damages].* Notes The arms are those of Hoadley with, in pretence, Argent, a chevron between three garbs sable-possibly for Blake of Wiltshire and Somerset. Further to her experience in China she has completed the Creative Visionary Program (2018) with artist Nicholas Wilton. This course enabled Ruth to take her work and practice to a higher level. She now works in a more inquiring and intuitive manner. Ruth has a full time painting practice based at her studio in the south of France.
