A metal travel case with canvas cover belonging to 'Mr L. Smith'. Len Smith enlisted in the Army at just aged 15 pretending to be older. Len's regiment was The Royal West Kent Regiment and it's believed he fought in The battle of Monte Casino. In 1946/47 he was posted to India where he was transferred to the Essex Regiment. With the case are notes from his family, photographs in his military uniform and his cap badges for both regiments.
