Clifford is considered a Master Army Aviator and has logged over 3,400 hours flying in a wide variety of fixed and rotary winged aircraft. Clifford retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of lieutenant colonel. He has logged over 12 hours of spacewalk time over three Space Shuttle missions. He is also one of the first people to conduct a spacewalk while docked to an orbiting space station. The spacewalk was conducted during STS-76, while docked at the Russian space station Mir. Parliamentary order concerning the army, issued on June 9th 1647, deleting a Parliamentary declaration of 30 March 1647 against a petition from the Army. 'That the said former Declaration of the Thirtieth of March be razed and expunged out of the Books of the said Houses'. Orders issued by Parliament during the English Civil War are uncommon.

The information provided includes suggested improvements and their costs, the approximate capacities (numbers of seats) and bunks construction details, collapse factors, etc. Based on the serial numbers there must have been many other reports in the series. This group includes premises on Haymarket, Essex Street, Hill Street, Jermyn Street, South Audley Street, Berkeley Street, Golden Square, Leicester Square, Knightsbridge, Grosvenor Square, Oxford Street and Dering Street. Specified premises include the Army & Navy Stores (Howick Place), Eagle House, Ambron House, Universal House, Canton House, Bush House, Warner House, Poland House, Haraby House and New Bond Street House.
