An original WWII Second World War Third Reich Nazi German Army dagger / sword with Portepee. Having a steel oak leaf pommel and twisted ivorine grip. The crossguard depicts the nazi eagle ( Reichsadler ) atop the Swastika emblem. A double edged stiletto blade is stamped with maker's mark ' Horster Solingen ' to the ricasso. Houses in a steel textured scabbard with oakleaf furniture suspending two rings and Porpetee sword knot.

An incredible all-original WWII Second World War Third Reich Nazi German Army LFO Light Infantry Order webbing set, comprising; an original leather waist belt dated 1938, a Gott Mit Uns 1941 ' W. Heinl ' belt buckle, an original SG 84/98 bayonet with ' FNJ ' manufacture marks and dated 1944, leather frog with ' cavalry ' strap, an original period bread bag, x2 ammunition leather pouches, water bottle (stamped KCL 39), and respirator gas mask complete with original filter and canister (stamped EBU 43). A fantastic collection of original German webbing, making an impressive display.
A rare and interesting c1930's personal photograph album which is believed to depict the maiden voyage of British Airship R.101. The album being a period ' Kingsway Snapshot Album ' is filled with 9x6.5cm black and white photographs, including several of Scout / Scouting interest (including several of Baden Powell himself), various Jamborees, some of Army / Military interest, and other general ' holiday ' type photos. Towards the centre of the album are two photographs of an airship / zeppelin - believed to be R101 on a test flight., likely in August or September 1929. A charming album. R101 was one of a pair of British rigid airships completed in 1929 as part of a British government programme to develop civil airships capable of service on long-distance routes within the British Empire. It was designed and built by an Air Ministry-appointed team and was effectively in competition with the government-funded but privately designed and built R100. When built, it was the world's largest flying craft at 731ft in length, and it was not surpassed by another hydrogen-filled rigid airship until the Hindenburg flew seven years later.

The medal group comprising; his Second Class Merit Cross, his Eastern Front medal, and his black Wound Badge. Each accompanied by its original award certificate naming Freuding. The collection also includes his identification tag / dog tag, a spent Russian bullet and several personal photographs from Freuding - some with annotated pieces of paper describing who and what is shown. A rare personal medal group.

The original haversack marked ' Army Lightweight Service Mask ' contains a cylindrical anti-dimming outfit.

The medal group comprising; his British Empire Medal (with box and award certificate from Queen Elizabeth II - framed), 1939-45 Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal and War Medal. With original award certificate, as well as an original photograph of Wilson being issued his BEM. The collection also includes his WWII Gas Mask / Respirator in original tin, an engraved tankard (from his collection, but not relating to him) etc. Consigned from the family.

A collection of WWII Second World War military effects, all relating to the same (unknown) soldier - one ' H. A. W', believed to be a 2nd Lieutenant of the 142nd Royal Devon Yeomanry. The collection comprising; his original uniform patches and shoulder titles (with Maple Leaf), a metal dog tag ' HAW 187 ', rare hallmarked silver cap badge ' Royal Devon Yeomanry Artillery ', and other items. Further provenance unknown. Interesting collection. The 142nd Field Regiment fought in Sicily from July 1943 and in Italy thereafter under command of 8th Army, taking part in most of the major actions of that campaign including the landings in Sicily and Anzio and the Battle of Monte Cassino. The regiment was armed with Bishop self-propelled guns during the Sicilian campaign and part of the Italian campaign but in early 1944 was re-equipped with the American M7 Priest self-propelled gun. For its support to the Canadian Division it was awarded the right to wear the Maple Leaf of Canada which is attached to the shoulder flashes in this lot.
