Rare Japanese Army Pilots Photograph Album compiled by a Japanese army pilot called Komatsuzaki of the Hamamatsu Bomber Squadron. The album consists of snap shots and formal pictures of high ranking Japanese generals, comrades, group photographs, pilots in flight gear uniforms, planes in flight and on the ground, crashed aircraft etc. Some pages are numbered and a typed description of the page is included with the album. Scarp Book Album Compiled by Major B E Thackery Royal Horse Artillery, the large album covers the immediate post WW2 era with the British Army of the Rhine, up until 1980’s. The album consists of invitation cards, event menus, letters and other associated ephemera. Some items are relating to reunions with the Royal West African Frontier Force (R.W.A.F.F). All housed in a large album.
British Army 1960’s Far East Campaign Photograph Album, which appears to have been compiled by a P Trumper. The album consists of mostly black and white larger format photographs showing locals, religious artefacts, buildings, British troops etc. The images have a description of the subject next to them. Good clear images of the Waterways of Hong Kong, image taken in Malaya of a mock Japanese POW camp, patrol during conflict in Indonesia. Images are all housed in a large album, some pages are loose. All images are very clear. Areas covered include Malaya, Brunei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand etc. (70 images)
Polish Internees in Switzerland Medal, silver medal awarded for Polish troops who were interned in Switzerland. Obverse of the medal has profile of Bronislaw Prugar-Ketling and NOEL DES INTERNES EN SUISSE 1942. Reverse of the medal has Polish eagle to the centre and BOZE NARODZENIE W SZWAJCARDII DSP. Medal has a pale blue ribbon and remains in good condition.** The Polish Army in France served with distinction during the fall of France campaign. A large section of Polish troops were surrounded by German forces but managed to break through to neutral Switzerland where the men were interned for the duration of the War. Many men however escaped and managed to join up with the Free Polish forces in France and later United Kingdom.
Polish Miniature Medal Grouping consisting of cross of merit RP silver and enamel, bronze RP cross of merit with swords, army medal, Monte Cassino medal, 1939-45 star, Italy star, Defence medal, 1939-45 war medal, French volunteer combatants cross and French WW2 commemorative medal with France bar. Medals are mounted for wear. Accompanied by a enamel commemorative bracelet, having linked enamel shields with Polish divisional signs. Both items remain in good condition. (2 items)

Paperwork in the grouping consists of Polish Army in the East driving license, two photographs, Legitymacja and two other items. Medals and badges are mounted onto a display card. WW2 Japanese Army Steel Combat Helmet with Original Cover and Net, standard type 90 combat helmet complete with its original three piece brown leather liner. Cloth tie straps. Japanese characters inked to liner pad. Interior of the shell retains much of the original brown paint finish. Helmet has the original cloth camouflage cover with cloth badge to the front. Also complete with the interesting two colour camouflage net. Some staining and wear to the cover and net.
Selection of British Uniform Items, including officers four pocket service dress tunic with no insignia, pair of interwar officers trousers, pair of battle dress style trousers, British army combat shirt, four pairs of tropical breeches and a pair of standard service dress trousers. Interesting WW2 Belgium Made Royal Engineers Battle Dress Blouse, being a standard 1940 pattern example with embroidered Royal Engineers shoulder titles, 21st army group formation signs and arm of service stripes to each arm. Complete with original buttons (one missing). Interior of the tunic has original size label which is dated 1945 and gives the makers name of Van Buggenhout Malines. The battle dress shows wear and has some rusting marks caused by the top hook catches.
Private Purchase Officers Royal Army Ordnance Corps Battle Dress Blouse, of fine quality cloth with padded shoulder sections. Embroidered R.A.O.C shoulder titles with British Troops France formation sign and arm of service stripe. Shoulders have three red backed rank pips. Defence medal ribbon above breast pocket. A couple of buttons missing and some moth damage to the battle dress.
Post 1953 Scottish Rifles Doublet of fine regimental green cloth with blackened buttons. Interior of the tunic has original paper label. Tunic appears to be earlier, possibly re-issued and buttons changed. Some wear and staining. Accompanied by a post 1902 Royal Navy cadets tunic with gilt metal kings crown fouled anchor buttons to the front, cuffs and collar. EIIR Royal Army Pay Corps officers field service dress cap with bullion regimental badge and gold braiding, post 1953 Glengarry with staybright Royal Highlanders badge, The Blues & Royals beret with bullion badge and EIIR Royal Armoured Corps black beret. EIIR British Army Pilots Service Dress Tunic with red gorget style collar patches, the breast has bullion and embroidered army pilots wing. Bullion and embroidered flaming grenade insignia to the lower cuff. Anodised rank insignia for a Colonel. Anodised tunic buttons to the front, pockets and shoulders. Interior has original tailors label with inked name of the original owner, Major E G Shepherd. Good overall condition.
Two WW2 Divisional History Books consisting of Administrative History of 21 Army Group 6th June 1944 – 8 May 1945 published in November 1945 and A Short History of 30 Corps in the European Campaign 1944-1945 by Major Randel number 32 of 2000 copied. The books are accompanied by four black and white photographs, two of which show surrendering German high ranking officials.

German Army Single Decal Combat Helmet complete with much of the original paint finish to the exterior of the shell. Approximately 60% of the original German army decal remains to the side. Some rusting to the exterior of the shell. Still complete with the original leather liner although this has come loose from the liner band. Helmet shows extensive wear.
German Army Officers Dress Dagger, complete with its original bullion dress knot and velvet backed hanging straps. Dagger has orange handle with one chip to the bottom part. Polished eagle cross guard and top pommel. Complete with the original scabbard. Blade is an unmaker marked example. Generally good condition.
WW2 Polish 2nd Corps Grouping consisting of 2nd Corps metal breast badge numbered on the reverse 055409 (missing fittings), 3rd Carpathian division combat badge with screw back fitting made by F M LORIOLI MILANO ROMA, 12th Battalion 5th Kresowa division collar badge with srew post fitting on reverse (no backing plate), theatre made brass and plastic 5th Kresowa division formation sign on leather backing, theatre made 8th army formation sign in aluminium and brass, woven 2nd corps maid of Warsaw formation sign six piece silk medal ribbon bar. German Army / Waffen SS Field Typewriter complete with its original wooden storage box which retains much of the original green paint finish. Interior of the case has the original paper label. SS runes above the number 5 key, these have been worn so are not as clear as other keys. The typewriter was made by Olympia and has their makers mark.

Folder of Propaganda Artist Pictures of German Troops in Combat, the pictures are all of famous Third Reich war artists paintings showing victorious German soldiers in combat. The images are all held in a folder with German army eagle to the front and the wording at the bottom MALER UND ZEICHNER SCHAUEN DEN KRIEG. (17 cards)
Great War Medal & Paperwork Grouping of Private Rowland Leslie Hill Royal Army Medical Corps & Royal Berkshire Regiment, the medals consist of 1914-15 star trio named 36576 PTE R L HILL R.A.M.C. His dog tags which accompany the medals give the regimental number of 42036 and serving with the 7th Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment. A folder of original paperwork accompanies the medals and this includes pages from his original diary written during the Gallipoli campaign in 1915, the diary mentions actions against Turkish forces, being wounded in the knee, serving with the Australians and New Zealand forces (ANZAC) etc. Other items of paperwork include photographs, discharge papers, newspaper cuttings, returned great coat form, plus more. A typed account of Rowland Leslie Hills life accompanies the medals.
Selection of Polish Collar Pennons Badges consisting of single Polish 2nd corps 7th Armoured regiment with screw post fitting and backing plate on the reverse, pair of enamel centre Horse Artillery pennons with screw back fittings, pair of painted centres Horse Artillery with backing plates and screw post fittings, scarce 318 Supply Company / Field Canteens with brass backing plate and screw back fitting, pair of silver (not marked) and enamel military police collar pennons with screw back fittings, pair of 2nd Corps Supply units enamel pennons with screw back fittings on reverse, pair in celluloid / plastic centre (red and white with thin blue strip) with brass backing plate and two lug fittings. Pennons are accompanied by a pair of 3rd Carpathian Rifles collar badges with screw back fittings, enamel 3rd Carpathian Division screw back badge, brass Polish Hussars beret badge with two lug fittings to the reverse and a selection of Polish army tunic buttons. Some damage to the enamel on some of the pennons but generally all items remain in good condition. (23 items)

Churchill (Secretary of State for War), framed; an associated Constabulary Medal awarded to James A. Douglas; and a brooch commemorating early flight depicting a biplane, stamped to front "Bethune 1914-16", and stamped to reverse "Egal".
