WWI Early Casualty Royal Sussex Regiment Memorial Plaque Death Penny, complete with card envelope, to Frederick Curtis Holland.6320 Private Frederick Curtis Holland was born in Worthing and prior to joining the British Army he was employed as a mineral water manufacturer. He became a career soldier and following the outbreak of war he landed in France with 2 Battalion Royal Sussex Regiment on 12 September 1914. After a short period of heavy fighting he was killed in action on 30 October 1914. His body was not recovered, and he is remembered on the Menin Gate Memorial.

Boer War British Queens South Africa Medal Imperial Light Horse, with three clasps Natal, Relief of Mafeking and Transvaal awarded to 857 TPR W Devoy Imp Lt Horse.William Devoy served in 1 Imperial Light Horse, Devoy was recruited from the anglophile middle classes of Johannesburg in September 1899. His unit served with distinction in a series of engagements before it was amalgamated into the Transvaal Army in December 1902.
Second Anglo Burmese War British India General Service Medal with Pegu Clasp, awarded to Willm Eaton 51st KO LT INF some indentation/deformation to the medal rim.Eaton served with 51st Kings Own Light Infantry which was deployed to Burma in 1852 to fight in the Second Anglo Burmese War. The regiment was part of an expeditionary force that captured the City of Rangoon. Later the British Army captured the entire province of Pegu which was subsequently annexed in the closing stages of the war in 1853

The Imperial Yeomanry was raised in 1900 for Boer War Service. Paget an amateur soldier recruited 500 soldiers largely from the middle classes to serve as mounted auxiliaries in the British Army. The Unit was disbanded in 1908.
