Dean's Rag Book "Brumas" rare Tru-to-Life bear, English, 1950s, black mohair, with label, brown and black plastic eyes, with black rubber surround, inserted black rubber nose and lower jaw, slight hunch to back, long arms and legs with rubber paw and foot pads with claws (mohair has come away from paw pads), small tail, body is designed to be un-jointed and floppy, some wear to mohair (especially around muzzle and to edges of seams), mohair has become detached around eyes, stuffing has shifted to neck and tops of limbs, rubber has significantly perished on pads and claws, 26"/66cm; together with his friend "Teddy Edward", golden mohair, 22"/56cm; (2). Provenance: "Dean's of England black bear 1950s. I had when seven years old. Mum won £150 on the Football Pools. I was bought this black bear from a big toy shop with the proceeds. I'm now seventy-three. He needs restoration. He was made when a black bear was born at London Zoo. I have to down size so must let him go. I called him Brumas (after the Polar bear from London Zoo). Also with his friend "Teddy Edward", bought when I was three. His eyes are taken from my dad's army uniform.

New Zealand Medal dated 1863 – 65 to Thos Wheelton 70th Regt New Zealand 1845-66. Reverse dated 1863 to 1865. Correctly impressed 600 Thos. Wheelton, 70th RegtCondition, Good Fine (heavy edge bruising which effects the naming in places) Thomas Wheelton was born in Manchester in 1841. He attested as an 18 year old on the 21st of April 1859, giving his occupation as Labourer. He first serve with the 70th Regiment, seeing active service in New Zealand for which he was awarded the medal. This is confirmed in his service papers and on the roll.After 12 years service he renegade transferring the to Kings Own Scottish Borders. He finished his army career serving with Durhams. Thomas was discharged at Sunderland in May 1880.

Corporal R.E.Condition EF+ Each medal in box of issue Francis George Sherman was born in Malta in 1910, the son of Staff Sergeant William Sherman Royal Engineers and his wife Rosetta Mary Ann Sherman. Francis served as Sergeant Major ‘Clerk of Works’ during the Second World War. He sadly passed away in Cyprus in 1965. The Francis Fowke Medal, a prize for Architecture in the Royal Engineers was awarded to his Grandfather, William Sherman who also rose to the rank of Sergeant in the Royal Engineers.
A WWI MEMORIAL DEATH PLAQUE NAMED TO BENJAMIN HOLLYHEAD, in cardboard cover, this is a unique name according to CWGC & SDGW and he was serving with the Worcestershire Regiment with the service number 19960, on the 1911 census Benhamin was living in Oldbury, Worcestershire and before he enlisted in the Army he was an errand boy at a Galvanizing Works, 2nd Btn Worcester Regiment died 15th July 1916, Battle of the Somme, Bazentin Ridge He was 19yrs old when he died, the 2nd Btn were heavily involved in the battle at Bazentin, Hollyheads body was never recovered and he is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial HOLLYHEAD is only 1 with these naming details on the C.W.G.C. site. A Unique plaque.
