An SS11 air to ground missile, a French development of the German World War II, X4 missile, a wire-guided anti-tank missile utilising a shaped charge warhead, the SS11 saw service in the Royal Navy and British Army from circa 1970-1985, green painted dummy missile with wooden warhead and fins and a steel body.
A WWII Bergen backpack A.C.5195 SEN 1945 along with a WWII US A-5 Aerial Delivery container. *The Bergen backpacks were developed in Norway before the war and variations of them were used by all sides in the conflict. The use of the bergen is often associated with Commandos who made extensive use of them due to the large size and comfort of the pack. *The A-5 Aerial Delivery Container one of several types the WWII era US Army Air Force employed to re-supply military ground units by parachute. This was also a primary method of delivery of bulky and heavy items used by the airborne divisions and other special operations units during their missions.

A bronze statuette of a standing youthful male flamen (priest) on a pedestal base, wearing ankle-length trousers, short-sleeved tunic and a loosely draped mantle over the left shoulder, wolf-skin cowl to the head and back; hands modelled open and raised to chest height. 362 grams, 16cm (6 1/4"). Very fine condition. Extremely rare. Property of a gentleman; from a Mayfair, London, UK, gallery. Supplied with a positive X-Ray Fluorescence metal analysis certificate. Accompanied by an Art Loss Register certificate. The flamen Martialis (priest of Mars) was the officiant in the state cult of Mars, god of war. He was one of the three flamines maiores (high priests) who led public rites on the days sacred to Mars. Among his duties was the ritual wielding of the sacred spears of Mars when the army was preparing for war. The wolf-skin cowl was used as a mark of rank by the signifer (standard bearer) in the Roman legions.
3rd-4th century AD. A silver ring with tapering shank with wide flaring shoulder with incised X on each, bezel inscribed with HISP, which may relate to the army legion of Legio IX Hispana. 9 grams, 27.92mm overall, 18.65mm internal diameter (approximate size British R 1/4, USA 8 3/4, Europe 59, Japan 18) (1"). Fine condition. Property of a private collector; acquired before 1975.
1st-2nd century AD. A bronze discoid plaque with repousse design of a seated female with crescent headdress confronted by a mounted horseman with falx(?), large facing figure between. 3.28 grams, 39mm (1 1/2"). [No Reserve] Fine condition; rim with evidence of mounting. Property of a gentleman; acquired in the late 1960s-early 1970s. The scene possibly represents the Thracian rider god with the Mother Goddess in front of him, sun and moon above and the bust of a male deity in the middle. The popularity of this cult spread through the Roman army after the conquest of Dacia by Trajan in the early second century AD.

Blackemore A.V.C. (Army Veterinary Corps), with three Army Temperance Association medals, one for the 1897 Jubilee, and two in memoriam for Queen Victoria 1901, two other A.T.A. medals and a Cheshire Regiment badge (9). Blakemore died in 1960 at the age of 82 and is buried in Marbury Church, Cheshire
