A George II silver hot water jug by Thomas Whipham II and Charles Wright, London 1757, with wrythen finial, gadroon edge to plain bellied body engraved a crest, with woven cane handle, 26cm (10.25in) high, l 591g (19oz) gross weighable silver. The arms accollee of CLIVE and BOLTON for the marriage of George Clive of Mountclave, Roehampton, MP, Bishop`s Castle (1763-79) married (1 June 1763) to Sydney, daughter of Thomas Bolton of Knock, Louth and nephew of Dr Thomas Bolton, Archbishop of Cashel. A significant pair of Nantgarw ice pails, covers and liners from the Cardiff Castle service, probably decorated by Thomas Pardoe in a Canton enamel style with birds beneath a blue and floral ground band with lobed panels of birds, 21.5cm high, circa 1820, paper labels for the Ann and June Kieft Collection, (one with damage to cover and finial).
