A CIRCULAR TUREEN AND COVER WITH PINEAPPLE FINIAL FROM A FINE SEVRES PART DESSERT SERVICE OF THE FIRST REPUBLIC 1792-1804, painted with continuous bands of finely executed garden flowers on white set against a rich bleu celeste ground bordered with floral cisele gilding, overall width 13ins, height l0ins. Lid and handles riveted. Other pieces in this service carry the script Sevres mark or versions of the First Republic mark in blue enamel also various decorators marks including the painter de Choisy 1770-1812 and the gilder Vincent 1753-1803.
A late Victorian mahogany bracket clock, with ormolu embellishments, having a pineapple finial to the pagoda top and with similar finial to each corner in turn above the arched door enclosing the brass dial with advance and retard mechanism to the arch and with two-train striking movement flanked by canted angles with caryatid mounts, the rectangular stepped base with further ormolu mounts and raised on scrolling paw feet. Width 16ins.
A late 19th/early 20th century oak bracket clock, the domed hood with torch finial to either side in turn above the arched glazed door enclosing the silvered brass dial with Roman numerals and advance and retard mechanism to the arch and with three-train fusee movement, flanked by caryatid and foliate ormolu angles and with rectangular stepped base raised on scroll feet.
