The cork on the stopper is disintegrating and there are a few small dents. Some scratches to glass surface. Two corners of silver base are dented, leading to buckled straps. A George III silver bachelor's teapot, by Thomas Streetin, London 1802, of oval form with waisted neck and fluted spout, crested, 9oz CONDITION REPORT: Faint remnants of monogram. Handle loose, possible replacement knop, solder repair to cover and another to repair a split by hinge. Dent to one side of body and numerous other small dents throughout. Generally worn. Height 10.5cm not including finial. Length from end of spout to the back of the handle 23.5cm (including handle).
A William IV large silver teapot, by Barnard Brothers, London 1830, of compressed circular form, decorated with trailing foliage and a vacant cartouche, on four stylised leafy scroll bracket feet, the thistle shaped finial by a different maker, 23cm high, 43oz CONDITION REPORT: Knop by a different maker. Light scratches to cover where knop has been rotated. No obvious major faults.
A parasol, the handle decorated with bands of blue and white enamel, with mint-green silk shade, 98cm long, a parasol, by J Howell & Co Ltd., with cut glass finial mounted in a gilt metal coronet, with black silk shade, 92cm long, another parasol, with glass handle with gilt metal garland mounts, with floral silk shade, 98cm long, and an umbrella, with hardstone/marble and gilt metal handle and black shade, 79cm long (4) CONDITION REPORT: Blue enamel - numerous chips; losses and bruises to enamel; parasol silk disintegrating. Garland example - garland mount loose; wear and discolouration to gilt mounts; rips to shade. Howell - knocks and discolouration to gilt coronet mount. Hardstone - chips and bruises to terminal; wear to gilt mounts.
A silver serving dish and cover, by Guild of Handicraft, London 1907, of hammered oval form with baluster ebony side handle and domed cover with ebony finial, 23.5cm wide, 19oz CONDITION REPORT: Some surface scratching. Marks to lid slightly rubbed. Rim of lid dented and slightly mishapen to one side. Number of dents to base. Outline of handle plate faintly visible to interior.
